New Avatar and Signature Rules - Effective 6/19 - BLOODY-DISGUSTING

Here are the new rules for avatars and signatures:

-250kb max for sig or avatar
-One .gif allowed

TO CHECK YOUR SIG OR AVATAR

RIGHT CLICK THE IMAGE
CLICK PROPERTIES
AND IT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING LIKE "XXXKB" NEXT TO FILE SIZE
IT HAS TO BE AROUND 250KB

This is mainly concerning signatures linked from other places and not uploaded, because I don't think you can do anything over 20KB. There is no reason to have a 3.5MB gif in your signature. This will help the boards load faster. If you ask a mod to upload an avatar for you and it is over 250KB, your request will be denied. Again, you're only allowed to upload something like 120kb anyways.

The action taken on people who violate the rules will be as follow:

-Warning
-Infraction

Editing your current signatures/avatars to meet the guidelines. You'll be given a couple days to do so.

Question:

I have a gif as my sig and avatar .. is this allowed? Am I breaking any "new rules" ?

One gif is allowed, so you'll need to remove one. Your signature is well over the limit anyways. You avatar is also twice the size. I don't know who makes your gifs but if you cut down on the dimensions and delete some frames from animation, it greatly reduces the size.
