Yep, I would say I'm more a fan of the end arc of Season 2, with Season 3 coming as a huge upgrade.

I wasn't too happy with the way they utilized the mid season break this season. I thought it was too weak. Even episodes within the season came more as a shocker than the last episode (such as T-Dogg and Laurie's death).

I just hope they open big and stay consistent. There's still room for improvement.

Nah, they did it with the first season as well. I don't get the purpose of it really, but it sure as hell isn't the beginning of the end for the most popular show on television.

I can't think of a single reason why the producers would want to do that unless they're just so in love with the book that they feel the need to make the show more like it (which doesn't seem likely). Hopefully, this is just a rumor or a prank or something.

That's terrible news. I'm hoping it's only for one episode, though. They'll most likely lose ratings from the adolescents that watch the show... they're not going to like that move at all. The majority watch the show mainly because of the guts and gore. I can't see that sticking.

Thanks for clearing that up, Heretic. I was just watching the sneak peaks, for what's to come in the second half, to see if I could catch a glimpse of a B&W episode but I wasn't seeing anything. Now I know why.
