Say what you want about Schumacher, but the guy made Lost Boys, Falling Down, and Flatliners and for that he earns a lifetime pass in my book.

Who cares, Falling Down was his last decent film and that was 16 years ago. He does not have it anymore. He's a washed-up loser. And I hated Flatliners

Stumbled across this movie when reading up on Michael Fassbender, surprised i hadnt heard about it before to be honest.

So i searched on here and cound'nt find anything on it, I reckoned it deserved a thread though, as it looks a pretty cool movie actually!

It was released in Cinemas in September 2009 i think. Anyways, heres a brief plot...

Hmm, have not heard of this one, but sounds interesting. The Third Reich occult angle could make for a good movie, but wonder if it's just another psycho family in the woods/small town.

I like the idea of the victim escaping and going back for revenge. May have to look this one up.

Okay, just checked this out on Netflix. Joel Schumacher directed this and it stars the guy from Prison Break. The escaped brother is a war hero wanting payback. I'm definitely interested now. Thanks for pointing this out!

I read it was good. This was another unappreciated film that gut dumped in a few theaters. I'll def. rent it.

Watched it last night. I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty good. 7/10, in my opinion. The monster/undead Nazi practitioner of the black arts, was one cool lookin' motherfucker. The character delineation was rather flimsy--I never really got who the main characters were. But the atmosphere of the film was great, and I loved the idea of these two brothers loading up on shotguns and shells and going out to a farmhouse to kill an undead Nazi who has been steadily feeding on human blood for the past seventy years. Overall, the movie was better than all right, and it came through at the end.
