With the way Nolan is talking, I wonder if they will kill off Batman? It sounds as though the characters are all wrapped up, and I don't think it would be very satisfying to see him just hang up the suit for good.

I don't think it would be in the studio's interest to kill off one of the most legendary characters of all time. If it was some original license sure, but this is fucking Batman. Not gonna happen, no matter how well it works in the script.

TDK was the Empire Strikes Back of the franchise. I think Nolan will want to end it on a triumphant note. Shit will get heavy, but in the end Gotham will be set on the right path, and all will be well. I don't think Nolan has to come to a definitive end for Batman to cap the trilogy, just a hopeful future for Gotham will be enough.

The Riddler will be in the movie played by either Doug Jones or Benjamin Ciaramello. Most likely it will be Doug Jones because the word rumored isn't mentioned beside is name on imdb and looking at his pictures I can see how he could be The Riddler.
