Also, the very set up, Batman haven't made no appearance for what, 7 years, The Dent Act, and the public's feelings about Batman are all direct result's of the 2nd movie.

And after 7 years I doubt the Joker's name would be all over the public's discourse and more than the last big criminal case is on everyone's tongue in real life a year later, especially when a new big criminal case comes alone every 2, 3, 6, 12 months or how ever long it works out to be.

If you remember, Scarecrow wasn't the actual villain in BB. He pretty much led the underworld of Gotham, as he's basically doing in TDK and TDKR. I just don't think The Joker would've fit in this movie at all. But that could be just me. haha

I was so surprised, when he all of the sudden appeared as a judge within the chaos of the "courtroom". I am not sure how to put it in my brain yet.

How does the viewer know of such stupid things like an auto-pilot, summaring 1+1 up to the conclusion, that he is still alive and well after a nuclear explosion? Gimme a break.
This film has definitely the vibe and feel of a comic book, not so much a movie which stands with both legs in reality and reality only. Though, it would explain the well-being of Bruce after his self sacrifice brilliantly, but I can't take that as a legit excuse. There's a point, where enough is enough.

Exactly, I mean how could most of this movie existed without part 2? I mean the name Harvey Dent would have never been mentioned, Gordon wouldnt be commissioner, Batman wouldnt be hated or have a reason to become a recluse, and I could go on. Quite frankly I see nothing wrong with not mentioning The Joker, I mean sure he is one of the most memorable villians but in all honesty I saw him as merely a time killer so to speak in regards to the overall story.

Because there was a small scene explaining that the auto-pilot was working.
