If he is that is awesome because that is a great prelude to Avengers 2. Dark Avengers!!!!!!!! I like that news! Was not happy about another man in a suit but if this brings the Dark Avengers into the mix then I am stoked.

Oh Lord I still haven't made it through the first one. Shame bc I was excited when it first came out but I never got to see it in theaters. I tried watching it on DVD twice and fell asleep both times.

Doesnt SONY own all the rights surrounding Spider-man? If that is the case, then the goblin is restricted from use. Cause if you read Dark Avengers, they would have to throw Tommy Lee Jones in there cause they fucking ripped off his face for Osbourne.

Most likey some other dude in the suit. It is weird to see the Iron Patriot so close after he was created.

It is another character than Osbourne but the fact that it is the Iron Patriot and possibly a look into Dark Avengers would be an awesome chain of events for the next wave of Marvel Entertainment to come to theaters in the coming years.

I mean I know who is supposed to be the villain in Avengers 2 just by how Avengers 1 ended but if they are able to tie in him and the Dark Avengers into an Avengers 2 that would be pretty fucking awesome

^ that would be cool, but i wonder if norman is tied to sony with spider-man. it would be groovy if marvel entertainment could get spidey and the x-men back under one umbrella; i wonder how long sony and fox have their respective rights?

i would also be a little hesitant to have norman leave the spidey-verse just yet; i think also dark avengers, cool as they are, are still kind of new. i'd like to see some of the older bads make their way into the current marvel flicks. iron man needs to get some action goin with the mandarin.

at the same time, the nerd in me would be annoyed if they use iron patriot, but it was someone other than norman.

Maybe it's gonna be Armor Wars?

The players wouldn't be quite right, but the action would be perfect for the big screen.

Part of the problem for any super villains is being able to get the origin/back story on screen. Armor Wars would be super easy really, and would make for some great battles.

Also, you got Hammer in there? Sam Rockwell was it, he could be behind a bunch of knock-off suits.

Actually, just looked some stuff up.

If you want to know EXACTLY what story they're using from the comics...

Go to IMDB, look at the character names, research the character names. A certain actor is playing a guy that only ever appeared in one issue, so yeah, it's got to be based on that story arc.

Regardless, they also list Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin, so that should be pretty awesome.

Mandarin and Killian with some mech body guards like Iron patriot...But I guess he will be Detroit Steel more likely then Iron Patriot...
