Not since Lost ended has there been a better ensemble cast. You got underrated "vet" actors at the forefront of the show and great up and comers like Stuhlbarg, Whigham & Huston all under one roof.
If this goes the way of Deadwood in the future I'm taking names. |

Just finished the first season. Oh my fucking god. Amazing. So glad I found this show after I finished Dexter.
I really like Jimmy and Al Capone. I hope we see more Capone next season. Steve Buscemi was my favourite actor when I was like 5-8 ahahaha. So glad he's in this. So sad I finished it though...Now I have to wait for each new Entourage and Curb your Enthusiasm episode to come out

It was a good premiere episode. Sets everything up nicely. Much like the series premiere, not much happened but you get to see all the players and where they stand and how they're moving. Slow simmer again, which is nice.
I like Michael Shannon but his character is just such a waste of screen time in my opinion. It's just been done so much, the good guy who does bad things and tries to keep his good persona alive...I think it would be more interesting if he was just a straight-arrow-evangelical. That's just me personally
