Has anyone ever checked out XPW before? They are no longer around but when they were it was awesome. Most if not all the female managers were porn stars and it was some of the most violent shit Ive seen outside of Japanease federations.

They were an alright substitution for ECW. Way better than CZW, that's for sure.

The only parts of the show I saw were the Ryback/Shield brawl and the scrap between Rock and Punk at the end, and the shaky cam was used both times and it was fucking awful to watch. I haven't watched Raw regularly for the past 6 months, has this become a regular thing now?

I hope it's just some kind of experimental thing, but I don't know. I really, REALLY hate the fuck out of it. Reminds me of the South Park rib on Cloverfield, where Randy was running around with the camera.

I am hoping to watch WWE again more regularly and I sure hope it doesn't stay around. I can watch movies with the shaky cam effect such as Cloverfield and feel fine but watching it on Raw gave me a genuine headache, I can see they are trying to make the action look more chaotic but it just doesn't work.

To me, all it does is make the product seem even more plastic than it already is. I can live with the PG limitations, and what comes along with it, but that's enough. I don't need another aspect of PW that makes me feel like a complete fucking retard for watching it.

I don't know if you watch TNA, but they do a similar thing, where they try to make their promos look like Hollywood productions. They had this angle, where Sting and Hogan were "taken hostage", by some soon to be forgotten stable, and they staged some scenarios to look like a scene out of Sons Of Anarchy. Everything was done, like a scene from a movie.

I just can't suspend my disbelief that much. It all just looks fake and stupid, like Troma was the production company.

I am guessing you mean this? I rarely watch TNA, but that promo was awful, as you said looks fake and stupid.

I agree that the shaky cam makes the it makes the product look even more plastic and fails in its attempt to create an aura of chaos.


This is how you show chaos and a full scale brawl, barely a shaky cam used, certainly not to the extent it has been in recent weeks.

I won't be paying to see it.

Few predictions:

Orton,Sheamus or super Cena wins the Rumble. There's a 1% chance Lesnar may be involved .. But I doubt it.

The Rock will defeat Punk. It's a shame because The Rock will keep the title till Mania then Cena will more then likely take the belt from him and have it forever.
