Default Cold Fish (2010)

Gave this a watch last night and thought it was great... A little bit long but really entertaining, with some cool gore, in parts...

The acting is awesome. In particular, the film's main character played by Mitsuru Fukikoshi. He really does portray a tragic figure.

The film does eventually build up to a crazy finale.

I'm watching this tonight, is it disturbing or fucked up at all?

It is great. If you like Sono it's a sure hit.

Love Exposure > Cold Fish > Noriko > Suicide Club > Strange Circus > Exte

All of them are good though. Hope to see more of his movies in the future.

It's a bit fucked up but not as disturbing as some other Asian horror films... Mostly, I would say it's another cool contribution to Japanese cinema.

Definitely worth watching.

I do agree that Exte is his worst (though, still really fun), but I think Strange Circus was his best film, Noriko second, and a tie between Love Exposure with Suicide Club for third. He hasn't made a bad film, though. This is coming out fairly soon on DVD, so I can't wait to see this.

Well it's almost impossible to pick a favorite anyway : )

His next movie is already on it's way to UK cinemas. It's supposed to be another disturbing drama, also with the beatiful Megumi (Taeko in Cold Fish), Guilty of Romance is the title.
