Default 70s/80s obscure or underated horror gems recomendations

Hey all long time lurker first time posting. Getting prepared for me and my brothers October horror-a-thon, this year we are sticking to class 70s/80s era flicks. We have pretty much seen all the major stuff high profile stuff, I was searching the internet for something we have yet to see or have not seen since we were kids. Problem is every 80s list I can find on google just seems like its made by the same guy, you know listing Re-animator, Friday the 13th's, Elm streets etc. Was wondering if any of you cool cats could give some ideas for some other movies we will watch. Looking for stuff like Mutant, Monster in the Closet, and house, stuff that isnt on every top ten list there is. Can be cheesy gorey whatever doesnt matter what do ya got?

Watched 'Link' today, that would be a worthwhile edition to your movie viewing. Not to mainstream and well made to boot.

No offense to any lists posted, but I think I've seen almost every one of the films listed and many have a huge cult following. Does anybody have any recommendations for films that are still not very well received, so to speak?

I love to look at the covers of Paragon and Unicorn releases, and I wonder if there's any sleepers I've missed out on...

For obscure films (and I think these are at least somewhat obscure), I'd say the following:

Slugs
The Gate
The Hidden
Slumber Party Massacre
Final Exam
Visiting Hours
Bad Dreams
The New York Ripper
etc...

I'm sure there are others, but those are the films that are coming to me right now that I enjoy. I was gonna post trailers but the videos aren't working for some reason.
