It's funny seeing all the Brock haters just comming out of the wood work. I'm still a fan but the guy needs to find a new camp to train with. His hands are both offensively and defensively are horrid and I knew when he was unable to take Cain down he was fucked.

I thought Brock was going to win, but I also stated multiple times on my radio show and on my blog that I thought Cain is the heir apparent to Brock's throne. Cain is everything a heavyweight does indeed thrive to be.

Now, this fight with Junior Dos Santos is going to be interesting. The last time Cain fought a dangerous striker he got caught fairly early in this fight and then he showed tremendous heart against a terrible wrestler in Cheick Kongo. I think Junior Dos Santos has the second best striking as a heavyweight in MMA, and I think he could tag Cain, but this could be another Cain ground and pound for a victory.

Last night Jake Shields emerged victorious and looked solid doing it. The guy has not dropped to 170 in over 4 years, so his "sloppy" is only going to improve over time. Is he ready for GSP? I say not. I personally would rather see him fight Koscheck if he loses to GSP or Jon Fitch if Koscheck wins.

Seriously though, Brock is an awesome force to be reckoned with, but Cain truly is superhuman, perhaps the finest heavyweight i've ever seen.. DON'T FUCK IT UP CAIN, and that belt can be yours for a long long time

Nah, I called Cain a long time ago to be the guy to dethrone Lesnar. Turns out I was right.

What an awesome four minutes though. I just watched it again. Brock landed some serious knees early in the fight and had two takedowns. He was actually doing pretty good early on. Cain is a beast though, and never wilted. The fight changed the moment Cain caught Lesnar going for a TD, and sent him spinning like a ballerina. After that, it was inevitible. That knee Cain landed later on was the nail in the coffin.

I think the title is going to be in heavy rotation now. There are so many beasts in the division to hang onto the title for a long period of time. I'm guessing they're already prepping Lesnar/Mir 3 as well.

I'm gonna have to watch the rest of the card sometime else. I got way too hammered last night to remember it.

Overall the card was fun, Ortiz needs to stop it, The Nightmare looked like he may lose the fight in the first round, but when the 2nd started he was insane, Shields gassed out pretty bad .. he either needs to go back to his weight class or have another fight before he gets GSP. There's no way Shields can go 5 rounds with GSP now.

Later in the evening, UFC President Dana White responded to the confrontation and addressed rumors that WWE is pushing hard to have Brock Lesnar face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27. Dana White denied knowing anything about Lesnar returning to WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE has already contacted Brock about wrestling at WrestleMania, but Lesnar’s current UFC deal does not allow him to wrestle for WWE.

I thought that was the best Tito Ortiz we have seen since UFC 84. I think he does need to "fight" Chuck one last time so both can move on with their lives.

When Sanchez picked up Thiago and slammed him you can see him screaming "YES!!!" It was pretty awesome.

I agree with the Shields comment. But that's what happens when you haven't cut weight in 4 years. Hell, it's hard for me to cut weight now when competing every 6-8 months. So trying to cut that weight after 4 years and with Jake is a strict vegetarian it is going to be a tough task for him for a couple of fights. But even though he gassed he still ended up winning the fight. Now seeing him go 5 rounds with GSP/Koscheck winner would be BRUTAL, so I think Koscheck if he loses should fight Shields but if GSP wins, I dunno. Maybe GSP/Shields or do a Condit/Shields Number 1 contender match and allow Jon Fitch not to be skipped again. Who knows?
