My two cents:

1) I never want to see Monson fight again.

2) KJ Noons needs to understand this isn't boxing it is MMA.

3) Overeem would be crushed in the UFC.

Overeem/Werdum was kind of embarassing to watch. After seeing that fight I see any top HW in the UFC beating both.

It was shocking to see Werdum have so much success on the feet. If he was so afraid of Werdums takedowns he wouldn't let his strikes go he is fucked against Cain. And the fact that he looked gassed after a first round where he was in no trouble is embarrassing. I was really let down by those guys.



Did anyone watch the prelims on HDNET? Some surprisingly good fights.

Connor Huen did not top to a nasty arm bar and ended up getting his elbow popped out and still went on to win.



The first 2 fights of the night were surprisingly good back and forth battles with some impressive skills shown by both guys. I thought they would suck as they were nobodies but they were legit prospects.

Joe ray and Nahshon Burrell both have huge potential IMO.


Strikeforce is going to have to stop putting Griggs in there to lose.

Cormier looked so impressive on the feet. The fact that he is that good at striking that quickly is damn impressive. And he also seems to have no cardio issues at all.

Masvidal looked damn impressive. KJ Noons is goddamned tough.

Apparently, he had plenty of time to fix the problem, and didn't. Nobody knows anything at this point, which is kind of weird. I'm really curious as to what he got caught with.

Maybe Dana fired him from the UFC and will stick him in Strikeforce? As of right now .. who knows.

Meathead will never make it past a gateway fighter .. if he makes it that far. I'm surprised he's winning tho He doesn't suck .. but I dunno .. there's something about him that makes me not believe in him.

Poor Story, so close to being an elite welterweight and loses to a last minute guy who took the fight on two days notice( I know he was training for a fight that was cancelled, but it is still sad).
