Lars Von Trier's The Nymphomaniac (2013)

Controversial, polemical, his films do not leave anyone indifferent, one of my favorite directors, already has a new project underway, it is the nymphomaniac, a film that will explore female sexuality from 0 to 50 years through eight different chapters.

The protagonist is going to be Charlotte Gainsbourg, in what will be her third collaboration with von Trier after 'Antichrist' and 'Melancholy'. And is still to be confirmed the presence of Stellan Skarsgard.

One rumor circulating is that apparently Von Trier will shoot two different versions of the film: an explicit version and a more relaxed fitting for greater international presence. If you adore Von Trier like me, this is wonderful news.

I wonder if this will be as boring as his other films. Also it sounds like he's making a porn with arguably the ugliest chick I've ever seen nude in a film. Probably 2nd to the woman in the Shining.

Charlotte Gainsbourg again? I like her acting, but there is something about her which I can't stand.
Though, the whole project sounds amazing.

I need to catch up with Von Trier. I loved 'Antichrist' so I will be definitely seeing this, and 'Melancholy' too when I get around to it. I Need to check out a lot of his earlier stuff.

Good review, I liked the part where you say, that Von Triers originally intended to show that the earth was created by Satan and not by God.
