Jeff Fischer interviewed with us first where did that get us? any team that gets the last interview has all the leverage.

There's a reason Manning has a home in S.Florida and why he waited until last to interview with them, he won't be flying anywhere else after his plane touches down in Miami.

We'll see though.
I hope you're right man.

Peyton wouldn't follow Fisher to a T. He's mixing it up to keep Miami guessing and to take advangtage of their moronic management. Once again, Miami will be usd drive up the price. Ironically, it will help the Fins to do so because they can acquire Flynn for non-Peyton money and still have enough left over to acquire more pieces.

Niners have signed Moss.

Call me nuts, but this will be a story I'm interested in next season.

So it may actually be a blessing in disguise.

You're nuts. My nuts. Mixed nuts. Expect the Niners' ground game to slow considerably this year, with an aging Gore who's injury-prone and a primary backup who's a better blocker in pass protection than a reliable runner. When, not "if," Gore gets hurt, the Niners will become one-dimensional, leading to Moss acting like a baby after getting bumped at the line and quitting on plays. If the Niners reach the playoffs, it'll be due to their D.

This is all well and good, but...

We've seen plenty of sub-par offenses carried by their D all the way to playoffs and beyond. The last 10 years of Ravens and Steelers teams are full of examples....as is last year's Niners squad. All they need is one or two of the things you outlined (that we all expect, mind you) not to occur, and they'll be in great shape. Esp. in the NFCW.

I think they likely tossed him a nearly vet min. contract loaded with incentives. Unless he's broke a la TO, and desperately needs the $1.something million (tops) or so they gave him, I think he could be motivated to at least keep his head down and come to work. Which, even at 36 (I think) will be problems for half the SF schedule.

I'm interested in seeing how Moss goes. Fox Sports is stating the 49ers might also push for Peyton Manning should Alex Smith refuse their 3 year offer. Peyton to Moss.... It could happen...
