Heavy Rain movie?

Anyone heard that they are making a full length live action movie of a great PS3 title, HEAVY RAIN.

This could be so good with the right screenplay writer, director and cast. The game is flawless so can't wait for this movie.

Shelby played by Jason Alexander or Brad Pitt? Both ends of the spectrum.

I personally like Warwick Davis or Ryan Gosling for the role.

Hasn't anyone learned from past mistakes? When you turn a game into a movie it ends badly.

It was more movie than video game. As a movie I wasn't into the story in the slightest bit. As a game.....well it was barely one at all. An entire game based on quicktime events? No thanks. That's not gameplay.

It would probably work as a movie, but I have no interest in seeing it.

Aye, that agreed. I love the movie, and the effort put into capturing the spirit of the game and its roots is to be recognized. Now personally I don't think PH had anything to do in there, but I do understand that any SH fan wants to see PH in a SH movie, and that didn't exclude me. Kick ass game movie, and pretty much the only one I can think of that doesn't suck.

Yeah. Whatever Hollywood would come up with, probably wouldn't compare to the game itself as far as being a story goes.
