Going back almost 10 years, Metroid Fusion.

Released as a free download for 3DS Ambassadors, it might be the best of the 20 games. Classic side-scrolling action, reminiscent of Super Metroid, 2D at it's finest.....

Literally JUST finished that game today on my 3DS. Great game and my first full Metroid play through. Feels good being an ambassador, some good games offered up. Playing Fire Emblem now, which feels a lot like Shining Force.

Zelda: Skyward Sword - Got it as an early Christmas present. I haven't played enough to give it much of an opinion, but I like it so far. The controls feel tight, and responsive, but the camera can be a pain. The graphics are simple, but have a certain charm to them.

So far so good, as far as the actual gameplay. They weren't joking when they said the beginning is slow though. So much boring text. It's the same story as it's always been. I just got the first sword and my gear, so I'm hoping it will start to pick up a bit.

re-rented Mirror's Edge since I got the mobile version. Never finished the game itself, but the controls I feel are just wonky. If they ever did make a ME 2 they should make it a full 3rd persion adventure. I know the FPS elements were the "hook" but it work so much better if you could naturally see where you where headed.
