Haha, fuck that man, you have some patience.

Over the last two weeks I've bought anf finished

Lollipop Chainsaw
It was fun, very quick, finished it the night I got it, and on hard. Was decent though for a laugh, and the nods to certain Horror directors was nice.

Dead Space
Loved it, great atmosphere and story.

Dead Space 2
The atmosphere wasn't as good I don't think, but the gameplay was improved. Just as good as the first, and I loved getting more of an insight with Clarke. I can't wait for DS3!

I'm just trying to kill time until RE6 is out, Doom 3 for the 360 and of course Aliens.

Right now I'm slowed down and just playing on Forza 4, never been big on racing games at all, but I do enjoy this on for some reason. I'm not a car person at all either, so that aspect of it doesn't appeal to me.

Battlefield 3
I can't take any more COD. I hate it now, I'm so over it. I enjoy Battlefeild a lot more, it seems more 'realistic' type. At least you can to a vast number of different things.

Dragons Dogma
Was hesitant to play it at first, kind of getting over the whole RPG thing. And it just throws you in the deep end. But once you work it all out and get up in levels, and are able to actually defend yourself its a pretty decent game, I'm enjoying it thus far.

Thank you, thank you. *takes a bow*

Im currently playing through Halo:CE Anniversary and its a really nice update of the classic game. The best feature is being able to switch between the updated and original graphics with the press of a button at any time. The added Terminals/Skulls in campaign is also a nice touch. I forgot how damn long some of these level are though. Its a good game but I think some need to take their nostalgia glasses off when they say its the best FPS ever.

Also picked up Kinect Sesame Street TV for the kids. Bottom line, the fucking love it. You basically enter the world of Sesame Street helping all the characters with tasks, learning shit and just kicking back to watch clips. Whats cool is there are already countless hours of free digital content on the SSTV app and you get all content that will be released for the year for free. You also play from the dvd and through the app so there are separate sets of achievement lists for the game.

I havent played shit in what seems like months. Nothing new has screamed out at me to play, and really I dont have the time nor the interest like i use to. I re-lived my Xbox and yet it sits at my Mom's house unused. Think i played a couple of games with Tool Shed of MW2 just to hang.

I think maybe the only thing that will peek my interest is Ass 3, cause the history major in me is having a field day with the American setting, a setting in history rarely used. And besides, Natives don't get much love any more anyway.

Think the best way to look at the Dead Space series is like DS1=Alien, DS2=Aliens, looking forward to DS3.

Have you tried the RE6 demo yet? The controls are a bit wonky but it'll take getting used to and the cover kind-of-sort-of works when it wants to. Leon's campaign will probably be the best if you want some sort of survival horror out of it, Chris' and Jake's felt like straight action from start to finish with a bunch of mutated henchmen shooting at you. I'll still get it but I wasn't blown away with it.

Oh, congrats Slayer for finishing Gears, I know you're relieved!!

Borderlands 2 - I'm up to level 16. It's more of the same, with two huge improvements. The first one is that the game has to be at least 50x bigger than the first. Most side missions are just as good as the campaign ones, and usually take place in entirely different locations that are just as vast as the ones found in the story mode. The second, is the writing. Every character has a ton of, err....., character. Even the throwaway NPC's that are just there to add life to a city, usually have some funny to say, and rarely repeat themselves. The amount of dialogue in this game rivals that of Fallout 3, if not surpasses it.The gameplay is what you'd expect. Shoot and loot, with a shit ton of customization options. You could play as the same character at least three times, and have a different experience, thanks to the huge skill tree options.

If I had any complaints, it's that you're inventory limitations are a bit small, considering you're picking up new weapons and items every ten steps. Everytime I see "full" on the screen, I want to rip my hair out because it's so frequent, and constantly having to open your inventory to drop items is a chore. Also, while co-op is great and the way the game should be played, it can get a little too hectic. I can't count how many times I've died and not known the reason. Enemies come from every single cheap area in the game, and you're constantly eating cheap shots from enemies you can't see. The map just sucks as well. It doesn't tell you what level of ground you're on, and no matter who I play with, we always end up running in circles at one point or another, looking for a certain path.

Small complaints aside, it's a great game, and a perfect example how a sequel should be done. Bigger and better in every way.

9/10

Got that and Darksiders II finally yesterday. But man, Borderlands 2.... I can't see anything surpassing it for game of the year at this point. I haven't heard one complaint, or read one negative review. And the fact that most people seem to be praising the story out of all things is a telling sign of the effort put into this game.

That is a good way of looking at it, I hope Ds3 is more like the first in that regard, from what I've seen it looks pretty action filled though.

And nah, I haven't played the demo, but it'll have to be better that 5. Apparently it's Capcoms largest production to date (if that's true?) it shows they are kinda trying... right???

Loved it too, I was shocked when I saw how much the graphics really had changed. Looking back like you do with that aspect of the game had me stunned at how far we've come.
