I'm sorry bro, i don't mean to get on your case so much. I guess i was just so tired ot the criticizm the Heat were getting their first year together (and still do from time to time), that it felt good to pour it on another struggling "Super Team". I still think the Lakers can eventually pull things together....at least i hope so....they've got way too much talent to fuck this up.

Heat look to sign Chris "Birdman" Andersen:

In case you haven't noticed, as kickass as the Miami Heat has been this season (23-9 so far), they've been refried ass when it comes to rebounding.

The World Champs rank among the worst in the league in rebounding.

To fix this, team President Pat Riley worked out former Denver Nugget and current possessor of a million tattoos, Chris "Birdman" Andersen on Tuesday afternoon.

In the past few days, the Heat released Terrel Harris and Josh "Jorts!" Harrellson. Which means they have the roster space if they want to add The Birdman.

The 34-year old Andersen made his name as an active and relentless player coming off the bench with the Denver Nuggets. At 6-foot-10, his athleticism and ability to bring energy, as well as his ability to scare the shit out of some people with his crazy hair and tats, is just what the Heat could use.

After serving a two-year ban for violating the NBA's drug policies between 2006 and 2008, Andersen reinvented his game, and was a strong contributor off the bench for the Nuggets.

Andersen played 32 games for Denver last season before being waived in July.

The Heat don't necessarily need a dominant force in the middle. They just need someone who can crash the boards, and contribute defensively off the bench. And while Udonis Haslem has held that role for Miami, his game has slipped some.

Besides, it's clear Miami needs depth and size at this point.

Andersen might very well be just what the Heat needs to cure their rebounding ills.
