My ranking:

Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice
Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest
Children of the Corn (1984)
Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering
Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror

I dig 1-4 a lot. Haven't bothered with anything after part 5, hear they're almost unwatchable.

They are. I hope you're never subjected to them.

I used to be obsessed as a kid with this movie.. I'd get up and set my alar befor school at 5 am just so I could watch the entire thing. I like the original and that's my final answer.

I saw part of the Syfy channel remake on cable a few years back, but couldn't take it and had to turn the channel. It was complete shit.

I pride myself on having a high tolerance to bullshit but the remake tested me more than anything I've seen in the last few years. I'm confident it's one of the worst horror films ever. The Gathering has it's charm but there's not a single redeemable quality when it comes to the other entries after that.

The late Karen Black did a fine job in part 4. It's also one of the more bloodier entries.

On aother note, the latest entry Children of the Corn: Genesis uses stock footage from Bad Boys II.

I love in the 5th that Eva Mendes had such a minor role

Throughout the films some pretty big names passed through.

Enjoyed the first 5 you have to take it with a grain of salt.
