In reply to: travisbickle posted an update in the group Punisher fans Mine would easily be The Slavers, with Born very close behind. One shots?…The End. Yeah, i’m a Ennis Whore. View

The Ennis run on MAX is all great, but Born and the stories in From First to Last are my favorites.

In reply to: Hexenkult posted an update in the group Glen Danzig fans Danzig’s ninth studio album, “Deth Red Sabaoth”, is set for a (tentative) spring 2010 release. I’ll be eagerly awaiting this one. The line-up includes Steve […] View

Downloaded it today. It’s pretty fucking good. The production quality is kind of uneven, but the songs rock. It reminds me a lot of Danzig 4 but with a bigger touch of the experimental Samhain sound.

4 is definitely underrated. It brought back some of the experimental sounds from the Samhain days.

The first 4 are all great, but Danzig I is my favorite. Rick Rubin managed to catch evil on magnetic tape.

In reply to: dadadrunkmonkey posted an update in the group Glen Danzig fans I already know more people would say Misfits, but I love it all. Nothing really sets “the mood” for me like Satan’s Child!:devilang: View

Samhain is my favorite, especially November Coming Fire. The Misfits are great and I liked all of the Danzig albums except for Circle of Snakes. It just sounded like one song over and over. I didn’t like blackacidevil until I heard Satan’s Child and realized it was a transition album.
