I’d recommend the brilliant Spaniard film The Orphange, it has a more realistic and relatable ghost story that’ll bring mothers to tears in the end. Also, The Others and Aliens!!!!

i think the new footage suggests that the Japanese character Mako Mori was traumatized in her childhood. She lost her parents to a kaiju attack and might have been stalked or chased by one before a jaeger came in
