A young woman is blackmailed into perfoming kinky and perverse acts in public by a man whom she may or may not know…

This is very much a back to basics type of film for Tsukamoto, shot in 16mil monochrome. It lacks the crazy kinetic energy of his previous films, but this finds him more mature and contemplative. And that’s not necassarily a…[Read more]

Possibly my favourite of all Tsukamoto’s movies, Tokyo Fist dispenses with the warped future fantasies of his earlier work and centres on a bleak and destructive love triangle. The film explores sadism, S&M, self-mutilation, machizmo, and boasts the most brutal boxing match in cinema history. You’ll feel like you’ve done 15 draining rounds with…[Read more]

This second outing for Tsukamoto is bigger, better, in colour, and boasts much cooler haircuts this time around. Tamora Taguchi stars as the innocent salary man whose young child is abducted by a couple of thugs. When he gives chase he is shot in the chest with some kind of rivet gun, and this seems to infect his flesh turning him into… yep, you…[Read more]

A Japanese salary man inexplicably begins to mutate into a highly-charged human tank.

Shinya Tsukamomto’s feature debut is a trip from start to finish, featuring rapid fast-cut editing, insanely creative animations, and rape by drillbit cock! It’s a strange cross between Cronenberg, Manga anime, The Evil Dead, and Robocop. Unmissable.

Noe’s latest offering isn’t as visually shocking as his previous work but there is a crushingly bleak atmosphere throughout this film. It’s a 2 and a half hour journey with a dying drug dealer who has just been shot by Japanese police. We follow his spirit as it re-traces important moments from his life and a bizarre trippy style. There are…[Read more]

The Temple ov Psychick Youth is a loose cult who practice extremely violent sex magik (among other things), and this is a video they released in the early 80′s complete with induction ceromonies, strange logos which try to brainwash the viewers, cutting, needling, electric shock orgasms, and death. Some volenteer is even castrated, but this…[Read more]

An obnoxious woman writes a controversial novel and soon we learn that the events in the book may not be enirely fictitious.

The description above does nothing to convey what goes on in this film, as there is way more to it than that, but let’s just say that this is one very twisted little movie and an…[Read more]

    Directed by Rolf de Heer
    Australia.

The wife of a newly promoted business man takes the kids and leaves him, but not before leaving behind a damning videotape for him to watch.

This is a very good Aussie film, a slow-burner that builds up gradually and the shocks are all the better for it. I wouldn’t recommend this to those who love gore…[Read more]

    the misadventures of stan’s dad!

  • the killer halloween masks

    • i’ve always liked this movie regardless of the fact michael myers isn’t in it.it was their intention to make different halloween related movies since myers was dead.as we know that didn’t happen.i think the idea of the killer masks is cool and original.

    • Great flick. My 2nd favorite of the series.
Has such a great Halloween (as in the holiday) vibe to it.

Somebody needs to make us some “HIII Fiends” sigs.

    • I personally really enjoyed this movie. Found it especially funny that Dick Warlock played the lead drone. Hilarious. But it was a good movie. I felt that it actually explained the concept of the Thorn (Thurisaz) curse of the Michael films but in an indirect way.

    • its cool how tom atkins will be in h3d.

    • Great film, the last scary one in the series!

    • This is one of my favourite 80′s horrors. I like how they took the series in a different direction. It had a really creepy feel to it and the score was brilliant.

    • I have to admit,it grew on me,when i first saw it,Hated it,and and now I like it
      Go Figure

    • Great flick that’s underrated that’s why I made this group lol.

    • I am so happy this group exists.

If you abandon the ties to the franchise, it views like a really cool 80s movie of the sort I’m assuming most of us grew up on.

Besides, everyone knows that druid robots want to kill children and OF COURSE they would use lethal Halloween masks (what?) to do it.

Despite its absolute silliness, this one…[Read more]

    • this is one of those low budget movies that could’ve been really bad but it’s not.the makeup work is pretty good and the direction is decent.i was 19 when it came out so i can relate to the kids in the movie.it’s a fun little flick.2 and 3 are ok but the 1st is my favorite.
