I love High Tension, but I get why someone would hate the ending. I don’t think anyone can refute the filmmaking of the ending, though. It is beautiful.

My favorite line would be “Whatever you do, don’t fall asleep” from ANOES1. It just sums up the franchise and is recognized by horror and non horror fans alike.
