The stuff in his romero movies sticks out to me. Chopping that guys head in half in Day was a pretty sweet maneuver, and from what i know of it groundbreaking too.

I’d have to say when he killed Kevin Bacon in Friday The 13Th was just great and you know it’s really hard to pick he has done so many things.

F13th was actually the first time i found out about him,
i was amazed by the effects,F13th was one of my first horror movies
and i’ve never seen people die in movies when i was young of course
and it really messed up with my head, i was always thinking that there
was somebody under the bed all the time.

Yeah that was great stuff, the first time i saw that i had no idea who savini was, but when i saw it again in my teens i was like, holy shit! I didnt know he did that! It was pretty awesome.

Day Of The Dead, the last 30 minutes of the movie are like a highlight reel of his best work.

“Maniac” greatest goriest exploding head in horror history! Honorable mention – Woman’s facial self-mutilation with steel wool pad and pair of scissors in Douglas Buck’s horror short “Cutting Moments” (dare you to watch it and not squirm)

Why is Tom Atkins the man?

In Halloween 3 he bags a girl young enough to be his daughter whilst wearing tight, cheesy courderoy and makes the seduction look 100% [I]believable[/I]…because he’s Tom Atkins. He can have any woman he wants.
