The Basterds March 20, 2010 8:44 amHOLY SHIT…. This was my favorite movie of 09 in a landslide victory for me. Just awesome. Great cast. I thought Pitt would ruin it but he nailed his part well. Christoph Waltz was just epic in this movie. The Bear Jew was probably the funniest thing in this movie as far as comedy goes. And how they totally casted Adolf as a whiny little bitch.…[Read more]

Sick Things: Fans of Alice Cooper. March 11, 2010 11:03 amThank God! There are other Alice Cooper fans. Oldblood the name and I am a fan. I personally prefer 70′s Alice music and his Special Forces look:twisted:

Nightmare on Elm st. Fans December 17, 2009 2:39 amLet me know what your favorite Nightmare on Elm street film is and why. I’m curious to see the outcome and votes on this topic:)
-
The original is my favourite because it introduces Freddy, the kills are by far the best and it’s probably the scariest. Out of the other films I prefer Dream Warriors and New Nightmare but they’re all close to my heart!
How about you? -
Indeed. Good choices. I adore the 1st one aswell because of the way they introduced Freddy. He was much scarrier and they did well caputring how creepy he is. New nightmare is creative and made fred a lot more creepy and dark
-
the original,no explanation neccessary.part 3 for all the nice kills and the worm.fvj for the sweet fight scenes and story.
-
i would have to agree with pac on this…..the first was the best hands down!!!
-
i actually like part 2…
-
i am not going to lie…..the second part was just not as good….the first was epic, but then the second was a let down compared to the first….
-
agreed but the pool party was awesome.
-
i dont even agree with that…..i thought it was disappointing….how many kills from that 2 or 3???
-
it was a nice way to show freddy as completely evil.it went friday the 13th.:pirate:
-
we already knew that though……he killed children before teenagers!!!!
-
while thats evil he killed them one at a time.this time he slaughtered them.its a very drastic change.
-
i would believe that if he had the chance he would always spree the life out of teenagers, but he is stuck one at a time in dream land…..
-
it was still nice to see it.
-
i would love to see that too, but the dream land kills are what makes Freddy the legend that he is!!!!
-
i agree.once only to see it but i like the dream kills best.:pirate:
-
Nightmare 1…the film that started it all. i also love 3, and the New Nightmare…two words…Heather Langenkamp!
-
the original has to be the best becuase it started it all and it was the scariest one, after that the rest were comedys.
-
yeah right, part 2 and new nightmare were far from comedies.
-
Dont get me wrong i love the first, and it IS the best… but i like the second one, Freddy’s revenge. Theres a pool party scene where Freddy enters the real world. He shows a god-like complexity when he raises his arms and says “You’re all my children now”. Iconic.
-
New Nightmare tried to be scary but didnt manage it
-
the 1st is the best.i like the others but the original movie was a fresh take on the slasher at the time.freddy was the first one that was already dead.
-
Deff. the original is my fav. I still get goosebumps when we first meet freddy in the dark alley way and he does that arm stretch thing and scratches the wall. I can’t watch in the dark haha.
-
The original. Awesome kills, introduces the killer we call Freddy, and it is the scariest in the franchise.
-
1,3,4 and Freddy vs Jason if you count it
-
orignal(number 1) cause just when u first saw this one it was fucking scary and after number one they where stilll good but not the same creepyness u get!
-
the first is by far the best. i live and breathe this movie. its scary as all hell. 1,3,7(the ones that wes craven directed/wrote) are all scary, the rest have that comedic element that i hate. but the first one is by FAR the best

Tom Savini Fans October 12, 2009 3:52 pmI’ve met Tom twice at Fango, but this last time, he was acting like a bit of a prick.
It was towards the end of the convention in NYC and no one was stopping by his booth anymore, so I figured I’d swing by and ask him how his film production workshop was going. He just answered real briefly and turned away from me like I was somehow pestering…[Read more]

I have also met Tom many time he can be a real douche, but if you really get to know him he’s a cool guy. Most people won’t get the time to see this side of him, cause he’s a cock to most of the people he meets.
-
I love the guy’s work from around 20+ years ago, but who is he to be acting like a prick? Maybe that’s why there were so few people at his booth.
-
There is only one time i have seen him at a convention and he seemed pretty happy. while i was there someone asked him to crack a whip he had with him and he did. Iwas right next to him and i didn’t know he was going to crack the whip. he did and it scared the crap out of me

Clockwork Orange – Viddy Viddy Well Droogs. September 29, 2009 9:02 pmThe whole movie is incredible….. But try to pick out your fav scene,
-
The entire film is a masterpiece, impossible for me to pick a favorite scene. But, the “singing in the rain” scene is real horrorshow ;p
-
Yeah it was def raw.
-
Oh yes the milk bar right before they go out for a little of the old ultra violance:-D
-
Honestly, I liked the book better but my favorite part of the movie was the staja’s “treatment” of our humble narrator.
-
I’d be lying if I said I had a “favorite” scene in this film. The movie was just phenominal in every way.
-
i love the interrogation scene. you’re a murderer now little alex….a MURderer. i also love the look on his face when he gets spit on…

Eli Roth Fans July 20, 2009 6:06 pmSo what’s your favorite? Cabin Fever? Hostel? Hostel Part II?
It’s tough for me to choose a favorite but I’ll go with Hostel Part II.
-
Agreed. ‘Hostel: Part II’ is Eli Roth’s most accomplished film so far. I’m looking forward to ‘Thanksgiving’.
-
The first Hostel’s my favorite of the bunch but they all have their own qualities that make them great. I do agree with the consensus that Hostel: Part II is his most mature film to date and does show that he’s growing as a film maker and Cabin Fever is a very fun Evil Dead style gore fest.
-
‘Cabin Fever’ was a competent debut and very entertaining. ‘Hostel’ was an even better follow up, with ‘Hostel: Part II’ being Eli Roth’s best work so far. He’s still honing his skills as a filmmaker, but it is evident film by film, that he is becoming a better director with each one. They’ve all been good so far, and in the near future he will…[Read more]

Cabin Fever
. -
Hostel II for sure. I was on the edge of my seat. It was super bloody and sadistic. I loved the scene where Heather Matarazzo was hanging by her feet naked and was sliced up and bled to death while another woman bathed in her blood!
-
My favorite Eli Roth movie is definitely ‘HOSTEL Part II’ – as a girl I can say there is nothing misogynistic about this movie (as many critics have said)! Eli Roth has created one of the best final girls ever seen on screen! Just awesome! And Cabin Fever is a great homage to ‘night of the living dead’ and ‘Evil Dead’, silent and creepy like the virus!
-
cabin fever
-
favourite has to be hostel part 1.
i thought cabin fever was pretty cool too – the bath scene..CRINGE.
but the only thing i have to say about him…Peaches Geldof? Really?! -
I would have to choose ‘Hostel’, though ‘Hostel II’ was more deliciously bloody.
I did dig ‘Cabin Fever’ too but not enough blood and gore for me. -
Hostel. One of my favorite flicks of all time.
-
cabin fever was shown as a “secret”show in texas at an old abandoned haunted insane asylum, projected on the wall, the audence did not know what was going to play, but i think…..
they could have mixed wrong turn 1 and cabin fever into the same movie, that would have been good, just take out all the cheeze from wt1 add the good parts to cabin…[Read more] -
