Supernatural: A Group For Hunters September 14, 2009 1:37 pmSo, what’s your favorite episode and why?
Mine’s probably the Grounhog’s Day episode. It’s funny as hell at first the switches up completely and gets dead serious on your ass.
-
Not sure if I can pinpoint one episode but I remember being really into the episodes that got Meg into the series.
-
Roadkill. It oozes atmosphere, and has a wonderful twist. Among its several great horror moments are the (funny) scene with the desiccated, hanging corpse and the scene wherein the woman is yanked through the window.
-
I agree the Groundhog’s Day was probably my favourite, looking forward to season 5!!!
Oh and any episode with Ruby, in any host body, they all fit!!!!!
-
Off the top of my head, Wishful Thinking (if only for the suicidal teddy bear).
-
I loved Wishful Thinking too. I also liked the Lucky Rabbit’s Foot episode.
-
Yeah, “Bad Day At Black Rock” was pretty good too.
-
Probably have to say my fav episode is ‘Hell House’ it’s funny because they play those tricks on eachother but it’s a cool episode as a whole.
-
Hell House is also great.
-
In My Time of Dyeing
Everybody loves A Clown
Season 4 episode 1 (where he rises from hell) -
Wow so many great ones from which to choose.
Off the top of my head, Groundhog Day, Bad Day at Black Rock and Ghostfacers. -
No Rest for the Wicked. I don’t know why, I just love it. Especially when Bobby says, “You’re almost Hell’s bitch. So, you can see Hell’s other bitches.”
-
Up until now I woulda had to choose between a few episodes…but Right now (and this could change next week) I gotta say my favorite was the season closer we all just went through. I’ve never been so shocked by a tv show in my life.
-
It’s a tie between On the Head of a Pin and Hammer of the Gods. They’re both awesome.

zombie films of the 70s 80s 90s and now July 24, 2009 2:52 pmtheirs so many out their its hard ta choose and some r debatable whether their zombie films or not but id have ta go with return of the living dead …..
-
Probably Braindead or City of the Living Dead.
-
I’d say Lucio Fulci’s Zombie- a zombie fighting a shark? Can’t get better than that
-
that is my favorite zombie scene ever thats the only movie iv ever seen that in lol loved it!
-
BRAINDEAD! xD
-
Return of the Living Dead is most awesome. I remember seeing the trailer for it as a kid and getting scared. And when it came out on VHS I got my mom to rent it and fell in love. I’m with Zombiefarts, the zombie fighting the shark was classic.
-
That sounds like Demons 2.
Best non Romero zombie film…
I would say a toss up between Cemetery Man, Return of the Living Dead, or Zombie. All of them for totally different reasons.
Cemetery Man has this cool existential story at the center of it and is funny as hell to boot. While I am sure Dead of Night will be nothing like it, I am…[Read more]

Zombieland. So funny, same with Shaun of the Dead
-
i agree with apoc:) but i liked The Crazies:)
-
Zombieland,Return of the Living Dead 1-3,Pet Semetary.Night of the Living Dead(1990),Dawn remake and Day remake.
-
i have to say 28 Days Later…even though they’re fast/running zombies, they are epically scary.

also Shaun of the Dead & Zombieland (Y) -
i have say its between remake of night of the living dead or reamke of day or dead alive or return of the living dead 2 or dance of the dead or zombieland or 28 weeks later its hard to choose
-
zombie holocaust (aka doctor butcher MD) had its moments as much as it was a rip off ….city of the living dead was also good …..its hard to pick a modern zombie film as I feel the genre changed too much following the success of 28 days later…..however shaun of the dead is probably the best release in a long time with obvious references to…[Read more]

Well I can’t remember which one it is, I think it’s the 3rd or 4th but it’s probably later on in the film series, Anyway, I love it when the main character finds out the he is actually one of the phantasms trapped in a human body, I thought that was great, Also, I love when the phantasm that drills attatches itself to peoples heads and the blood…[Read more]
THE TALL MAN himself.that leer is priceless & his lines are classic.
i like when he loses his finger in the first one.
the soundtrack: minimalist yet veeery ominous
The soundtrack is iconic, utterly amazing. I am particularly fond of the Tall Man, one of the truely great horror bad guys… no make-up or mask needed for him to unnerve you.
