I just love the films so would be devasted if they put out a really crap SAW movie. The franchise is better than crap put how long can you sustain a good run before botching it?

I’m looking forward to this, but much as I love the franchise I’m hoping that this is the final film in the series… it’d be nice to end things on a high note rather than letting them go stale.

I found, for all it’s ugliness, Irreversible to be a beautiful film.
I don’t think of it as horror though… aside from the scene in the club and the rape scene, which (as a woman) was just gut wrenching to watch.
I loved HIGH TENSION (or Switchblade Romance as I think (I think) it is also called).
I desperately want to see INSIDE.

Alien and Aliens are the superior films in my mind.
I found Alien 3 had a totally different tone to the first and at times the sound quality was totally off. It was quiet. Though it did really well in Europe.

I read a review for the orginial SAW film in Australian magazine, and the critic gave it a 4 out 5. By that stage it was already on dvd so I hired it, and loved it.

They are never scary but as an Arachnid fan something GOOD that involves giant spiders would satisfy me.
Other than Shelob, giant spiders don’t translate well on the big screen and she was only a bit part
