It’s too bad. From these clips and interviews with the director, it seems like he really tried hard to go all practical and the studio just didn’t agree.

How did the Halloween sequel rank higher than the first? The second was atrocious.
House was def number one and then either Devil’s rejects or Halloween.

Rob zombie is like Tim Burton. Great visuals but awful stories. Pair Zombie with a real writer and we may get an amazing horror film from him yet!

Gotta agree with you. Arkham city was superb but it was severely lacking. They got the mechanics and the city down, but the story left a bit to be desired. Still needs to be bigger and a more in-depth story. […]

He hated almost all slashers from every decade. His horror reviews were the only ones I ignored. Clearly not his genre. He was pretty much on the mark with everything else.
