  • reminding adults that just caus you a bit older doent mean you should trust everyone that says they know you

best part of this film 4 me is the helpful old couple at the end offring the bewildered pair a place to sort themselves out then ……shock…horror…….they dont want to put the kettle on they want to send you strait to…[Read more]

what did you think of this film

  • ok i was on a rumour thread and found out there could be a remake of it and pennywize wouldnt be played by tim curry what do you think about this

    • I think that it won’t be the same without Tim Curry, and that they should never have been given permission to slaughter such a good film.
Writers and Producers need to get off of their arse and start coming up with new ideas instead of piggy backing off of previous good selling movies.

    • r we postitve there remakeing this cuz if not i agree dont ruin this great film!

    • I heard the entire project was to be told form Bev’s point of veiw, which kind of tarnishes the entire premise really. Bev is not the leader of the Losers Club, she’s a very important piece of their make up. The strengh of the novel and film is in the fact that ALL the Losers have a voice and a veiw of the Pennywise situation, and that is what…[Read more]

    • IT deserves a remake. Yes, the TV movie is good but it’s not the definitive version of the story. How many of you have read the book ? The TV movie cut so many corners and wasted a lot of the books excellent material. There is a chance to make a great IT adaptation so i say they should go for it.

    • “IT” is a classic that should be treated with respect….there are a few conditions to remaking a movie of this magnitude….
      1. the right director….not just anyone, but someone who understands the mindset of Stephen King
      2. Pennywise gets a bigger role??? the story of the movie is good enough, but the real reason people rememeber this movie…[Read more]

    • I saw the mini series when I was about 11 and fell in love.
The concern I have is how can they take a four hour mini series and turn it into an hour and a half – two hour feature and still keep all the information that needs to be kept that makes the story what it is?
Also, the whole 1950s element won’t be involved.
I’ve not heard the book but…[Read more]

i like the charectors roles better in corpses personaly it more out there and unbelievable but each to thair own

    post your fave here

    • Really liked both movies.. For me tho, it was great seeing rejects interact w/the general public.. As in Devil’s Rejects.. :headstab:

    • I think that House of A Thousand Corpses is my favorite of the two because Dr Satan is SSSSOOO cool and I found it hilarious when she thinks she gets away and they just take her back there. HA HA HA, loser, besides oatis is sexier in H.O.A.T.C. i was also shouting at the stupid cow to move her fat ass out of there or hide but no she did neither…[Read more]

    • well said she realy could have just left i like it when she goes through the corpse tunnel its hillariouse

    • rejects a little more because of the more memorable scenes.

    • Rejects… I cried like a bitch at the end when my heros were mowed down by the law to the tune of freebird…. I was heart-broken.

    • rejects is much better because the story line is so original, where as corpses is a bit of a texas chainsaw massacre rip-off.

  • ok bill murry …quick change sees a naughty bill murry dressed as a clown to rob a bank

    • if the crow was originaly a clown b4 they torture, rape and kill his wife then kill him does he count as a goth clown

    • there are evil merdering clowns in requriem for a vampire …a redemption movie with a lot going on there are allsorts in this including a great car chase

    • Xtro has a clown in it, and it’s a weird dwarf clown that turns people into egg-incubators.

There’s a Doctor Who serial called “The Greatest Show in the Galaxy”, I used to own it on VHS. The Doctor travels to the psychic circus where people are disappearing, being captured by clowns. A great episode of late 80s Doctor Who.

    • extro is a messed up film i have the box set

    • There is an Evil clown that gets to kill people for a living on slashers-are you game?
it’s a redemption movie. Pretty good though.

    • the only problem is that he only appears is the 1st few moments of the opening scene, however you do still get to see him cut open somebodies stomach which is always fun to watch :D

    • slashers-are you game……is a great fuckin film with the preacher and yes the clown is only in it at the beginning but in his 15 seconds of fame he rips som1 open

the rest of the film is great pointing out the sterriotypes of reality tv shows and the people that go on them …… a bunch of nutters running around killing ppl,fun sexy scenes…[Read more]

  • this is were all clown lovers should come to be heard and killer klowns definatly deserves to be represented here as a great clown movie

  • i just put an order in for, black magic rites

    playgirls and the vampire
    draculas daughter
    demoniacs
    blood gnome
and on offer book..art of the nasty with free copy of killers moon dvd

  • has anyone seen this film i would like a quick review

  • crispin glover is amazing in this role, you just feel the terror come through him and his sticky hands ….the best part is when he burns that sexy girl

sick film suppasses the original which was funnier and great acting

  • willard is fucking depressing ….. your views welcome

    • I found Willard very sad when Hypocraties is viciously murdered and how Willard is mean to Ben.But all in all I loved it. Crispin Glover is an amazing actor especially when it comes to horrors.

    • I thought Willard was a good film, and he did very well to look as sane as he did even though you could tell his character has de-railed so far from reality I doubt he can even see it on the horizon anymore.

    • lolage

  • yunnub-the-killer posted an update in the group phantasm December 14, 2009 1:35 pm

I found that phantasm scared me a bit but the graphics I find rather amusing. I like the weird little midget things, they remind me of the little midgets in star wars.

  • Can anyone think of a film with Johnny Depp in were he hasn’t got a weapon? I can’t because even in the kids film Charlie and the chocolate factory, he has a machete. Can’t wait to read peoples responses, hopefully they will all be positive coments!

    • In 1993 he was in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and Benny & Joon and to my recollection, I think there were no weapons involved. My mind has been known to be mistaken…maybe the “grapes” were used as a weapon.:he::he:

    • i dont rember him having a weapon in nightmare on elm the other guy had one but im not certen

    • I don’t know because it’s been ages since I watched it and I find it a bit scary.

    • Thanks Cheluvshorror thats two films I’m diying to watch especially Benny and Joon

    • kk wot did u think ov him in once upon a time in mexico …with his little suit and ripped out eyes

    • I haven’t seen that film, I know I’m a bad person but I don’t think i would have liked that because he’s got gorgeous eyes.

    • what have u seen him in

    • Edward scrissorhands, Sweeny Todd, Sleepy Hollow, Pirates of the Carebian all three, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Corpse Bride, From Hell, Finding Neverland and Nightmare on elm street. Not that many I know but that will change at Christmas!!!!!

    • corpse bride was creepy

    • It was sweet and romantic.

    • i liked when he died ….didnt like when he woke up in the underworld tho bit cheesy at first

    • You just don’t know romance! He goes with his Corpse bride and thats sweet!

    • ok fair enough

    • And I do not think he had a weapon in that film either. Thanks for starting this thread! Now I am feeling old, because he really is not that much older than me and I actually forgot that he was in Nightmare on Elm Street. I need to re-watch those now that I am in my 30′s. If nothing else I will get a good laugh.

    • thats not that old still in ur prime and look sexy in your cat mask :D

    • Your not that old and evryone gets old and it’s natural besides I only found out that it’s johnny Depp in Nightmare on elm street because of imdb and it was his first film role, I think.

    • I found that out quite resently!

    • i dont remember him having a gun in the 9th gate but i may be having a blonde moment

    • AWWW! Meow! You guys are too sweet and you obviously have great taste in actors. I bet more members will join, but I really think that the threads are where a lot of them go to post. Thanks for the compliments! Getting older just means that you know what you like and are not afraid to go after it or apologize for it. Maybe you members are already there.

    • the threads are ok but you have to troll through pages of them just to end up starting one then no1 is interested

    • I hear ya!! I cannot wait for Alice next year and I bet he will not have a weapon in that film. Of course, this is a Tim Burton film so you never know.

    • All he might have is a knife for the butter at the dinner party.

    • didnt the mad hatter have a cain tho

    • I don’t think he did but he might in the film

    • Ok, so I don’t think you can count corpse bride as it was animated and so not really him as such, however, I recently discovered he was in a film called Dead Man which I had never heard of, will be watching it over christmas since I asked for it as a gift. Will let you know how it turns out.

    • Dead Man, I have never heard of this film either. Please enlightened us if it is good. I will look that title up then. Thanks!

    • I think he has a gun in that and I sort of know what its about but I’m not going to tell.

    • anything can be used as a weapon, if you really think about it.
i think the closest thing he had to one in ANOES was a flashlight. haha.
and the iron in Benny & Joon.

    • quick thinking u wont be murdered by some nut job in a hurry :headstab:

    • That was funny about not “being killed by a nut job”. You have a good point about anything being used as a weapon. I have not seen Benny and Joon in a long time, so what was the iron used for?

    • making grilled cheese sandwiches [seriously].

    • :he::he::he: I meant to give you credit about the iron. That would seriously mess somebody up! I like your profile name!

    • i’ll have to watch it now just to see him ironing bread

    • thanks

who the hell really needs a microwave/toaster/stove-top?
actually, now that i think about it..i don’t see myself heating soup with a hair-dryer.

    • great example of food cooking in an unconventional way is 100 girls
were he has a one night stand in a dark elivater during a blackout and looks 4 the girl from that night

his girly friend is cooking a meal on a record player with hair dryers and some other funny things

    • Great examples from you both! How about making waffles with a regular iron. Or blow drying your dishes. Did I already say that Johnny Depp was “hot” in Public Enemies?! He really did not like killing it was just a necessity. I would have gone off in the sunset with him to if I was Dillinger’s leading lady. He was such a charmer.;)

    • honestly, as big a fan as i am of him, Public Enemies didn’t look very interesting to me.

first movie to ever get me interested in him, was Edward Scissorhands when i was 9 [actually, i first saw him in ANOES, but was too little to know these things].
after that, regular boys just didn’t cut it [shit..see what i did there...:unamused:]

      i’m…[Read more]

    • scissorhands is such a great film …theres a creepy house, death of his dad,the out sider story, a realy funny half rape scene and an lynch mob

    • My favorite film of Johnny Depp is Public Enemies, but The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is my absolute favorite. He plays a bumbling amateur detective trying to solve the famous mystery of The Headless Horseman. The set design and costumes are out of this world. Christina Ricci was rather dull as his leading lady and Miranda Richardson rocks in my…[Read more]

    • In benny and joon, when they’re in the dinner, he starts playing with some food attached to a knife and a fork. I know he doesn’t use the knife in a bad way but a knife is still a weapon and I would also ride away with Johnny, I find it quite amusing watching Sleepy Hollow because My names Christina aswell so I imagine that I’m Christina Ricci.…[Read more]

    • You are so right on about Johnny being gorgeous! We have great taste don’t we!! :he::he:

    • I can’t wait for March to come round so that I can finally see Alice in Wonderland !! I now know of two films that Johnny Depp and Chrispin Glover have been in together, theirs Dead man and Alice in Wonderland.

i like the gravers caus they look creepy without trying

lets hear your fave things about this unforgeterble franchise

    • Well I can’t remember which one it is, I think it’s the 3rd or 4th but it’s probably later on in the film series, Anyway, I love it when the main character finds out the he is actually one of the phantasms trapped in a human body, I thought that was great, Also, I love when the phantasm that drills attatches itself to peoples heads and the blood…[Read more]

    • THE TALL MAN himself.that leer is priceless & his lines are classic.

    • i like when he loses his finger in the first one.

    • the soundtrack: minimalist yet veeery ominous

    • The soundtrack is iconic, utterly amazing. I am particularly fond of the Tall Man, one of the truely great horror bad guys… no make-up or mask needed for him to unnerve you.

any line you liked exact quote or close to it whatever as long as we know what your unnabout its ok

i’m trying to walk the line on this one

  • comic genius, sick films, instent clasics or over rated your views here

  • great brit film featuring the legend warwick as the creepy villager warding off unsuspecting tourists from the horrors than lie down the road of light .

anythink you like about this film or dislike eg. the lack of warwicks screen time

  • I think Crispin Glover should play more roles were he’s a bit gone in the head because he’s great at it. What do you think? Please leave comments.

    • i think he was good as the thin man in charlies angels caus he was funny and insane wich is a winning combo in my opinion …if your going to be mad you have to enjoy it or wots the point

    • He can nick a piece of my hair any day, as long as he doesn’t nick it all! I  my hair!
