Childs Play 1 2 and 3 the other ones I can’t stand them
and if I have to pick one…Childs Play 1 of course…

Child’s Play 1 & 2 are my favs.

Though the other movies are decent too.

Bride Of Chucky & Seed Of Chucky were basically comedy-horrors and the first three were just horrors. While there was a little bit of humor in the first too that I enjoyed and I did enjoy the funny stuff from the 5th & 6th one…I just feel like their needs to be another Chucky movie that is less comedy and just darker. I love the new Chucky look though.

Instead of making a sequel to follow Seed of Chucky (2004) as originally intended the producers decided it was time to return Chucky to his horror roots instead of the comedic side which took control over ‘Seed Of Chucky’. The only way they felt this was possible was to “reboot” the franchise with a remake of the original that was darker and scarier than even the original had been.

So looks like the same voice for Chucky is returning for the remake.

I don’t really want to see a remake since the original Child’s Play was a good movie and I don’t see how they could improve upon it.

Unlike other remakes or re-imagination of popular horror movies…the new Child’s Play movie will be by the same person so that’s a good thing and Charles Lee Ray/Chucky will be the same person which is also a good thing. We’ll see if it really is darker than the first two but I imagine it might be more violent and gory.

I was hoping for a long time that the Chucky movies would go back to having Child’s Play in the title. I do wonder if the only reason that their is a Chucky remake is because their has been a Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday the 13th, & Halloween remakes.

they look gd the effect’s were perfect for the films n they couldnt do it any better

i recently bought all the childs play dvds except seed of chucky thats shit my fave is no 2

These movies were just flippin fantastic.
I agree that the first two were definitely the best, but the others weren’t bad, kinda cheesy though.
The ‘bride of chucky’ and the ‘seed of chucky’ were quite humorous, I didn’t mind them, nothing at all that could give you nightmares though.
When I was little the first one gave me a fright, but I didn’t play around with any dolls that looked like him, so I never freaked out as much as I could have.
The movie that made me shit myself when I was little was Hellraiser, I was always afraid of that dog coming out of my dreams to kill me lol.

The 1st 3 are my favourites because they just stuck to horror with little one liners to make you smile, this works since it still holds the malicious feel to the film, whereas the last 2 lost their way by being comedy horrors, My favourite scene is in the 1st film though where chucky was thrown in the fire, and starts walking down the hall as a half melted metal skeleton of the good guy doll.

to be honest childs play 3 didnt do much for me with that wieny black kid but my 2 fave bits in this one are the death of the barber and the way chucky is laughing and talking to himself as he swaps out the paintball rounds for live ones …..so sinister to take the cadets trust and nievety and throw it back in their faces

2 because it was like 1 but with better kills and better chucky.

i also love 1 because like a lot of you i grew up with it and the scene where chucky first talks is burned in my memory forever.
