Good insights, guys! Yeah, The Shining would be cool. How do you top Jack Nicholson? I think that Rosemary’s Baby would be great if a more involved occult element would be infused. Remember that movie, The Craft? That has elements of witchcraft that could be exploited in a new RB.

Wes Craven’s Last House on the Left was re-made and I thought they did a good job. I have the original and I watched it after seeing the newer one and while somewhat dated, it had the thrills. The recent one (again, better use of technology) had an eeire feel and some contemporary twists that were good.

Ha ha yeah. Along with the recession comes movies with budget problems. It takes a load of dough to get all the fancy SGI effects and all.

you dont need all that fancy CGI stuff to makie a great movie though (nevertheless a remake)…….look at the remake of “Halloween”, it was just a classic in your face slasher that didnt depend on computer animation or to much editing to begin with….we need to realize that movies can be just as good without using fancy technology….
