Never Sleep Again is absolutely wonderful. His Name was Jason was a neat little bit, but it was definitely light on material as TwistedCritic had mentioned. Really looking for to this documentary!

Is this a remake of a previous version? I’m probably wrong but I don’t know why I recall it from an earlier time. Either way I’m wanting to see this film. Looks spooky!

madmondo13 posted an update in the group The Walking Dead Fans October 31, 2010 11:54 pm
Your feeling’s on the first episode, I love the fact that the story hasn’t been messed with to much. I think the special effects are great (not so much the cgi blood but make up is awesome) I think we have a winner.
-
yes i agree the cgi blood wasnt the greatest but the makeup was awesome . im not that knowledgeable of the kirkman books but ive been waiting for the show and im very glad its here .
-
For those of you that have not read any of the book they are fantastic. read at least the first 12 so you know what to expect. I say the 12 due to the fact that there are now 76 book in the series now.
-
I love how it follows the comic and I love the zombies in it. They are doing a really good job so far. We shall see what happens.
-
I was worried that the show wouldn’t be as F’d up and twisted as the comic is. Within the first few seconds Rick is seen killing a zombie girl, putting my worries to rest. I really look forward to watching the comic play out on the small screen.
-
I loved the First ep. I was worried that it would not do the comic justice, but so far i’m loving it. I can’t wait for the next episode.
-
Was disappointing they skipped the cafeteria scene in the hospital but then came to realize it would have been to much to fast.

The Walking Dead Fans October 25, 2010 9:49 pmI’m hoping to see a great show. Really looking forward to this.
-
Me too. I hope I’m not disappointed. This could change tv as we know it!
-
The wife, and I are getting ready to watch the debut in about an hour. I’ll drop back in, and give some feedback. No spoilers though.
-
i heard from a source who’s already seen it that it’s completely amazing!
-
Watching it right now, so far it’s awesome
-
First episode was terrific. It strayed from the comic enough that you knew it was its own thing, but kept it close to the original to know that you could expect many of the plotlines to be there eventually. Acting, sfx, production values, all outstanding.
-
This will bring awesomeness. This is the best idea EVER. Take one of the greatest comics and turn it into a series….just awesome. They are doing a very good job.
-
i fucking LOVE it now that lost is gone im depressed and need a good show being that dexter kinda SUCKS this season

What did you think of this movie? I loved it, not many people have seen it. If you like his work it’s a must see.
-
I haven’t seen this one yet, will have to
-
It was awesome!!! I actually wrote a paper on it for a film class arguing it to be a screwball comedy. Compared it to a 30s screwball comedy. I thought it was a damn good paper and argument. Anyways, it was an awesome movie. Very messed up and definitely a great example of a Miike film.

been looking for this film for a while, cant wait to see it

I want to discuss this latest film. I heard it was crap, but the trailer looks so good and I’ve really developed self-hype (if you can call it that) to see it.
Anyone’s opinions on this movie? Is it worth freaking out over? (Like I already am now)
-
Just watched the trailer on youtube… the special fx makeup seems pretty solid, but I gotta say I’m sick and tired of those mtv-esque trailers with cheesy music and over-editing. But I am with you, it does sound like a promising movie.
-
Apparently it comes out on IFC Films in 2010. Hoepfully earyl 2010. I want this movie.
-
I heard some negative stuff about this film too, but I also liked the trailer so I waiting for this. Heard it had some similarities to Left 4 Dead so thats a plus for me.

The french have not let us down yet, and until they do i will buy buy buy!

The animated one not films.

Which are the best anyways! I used to watch them every weekend when I was a little girl. I could not wait for the “Looney Tunes” to be over. My favorite character is shaggy and scooby. They were always so funny and hungry. Anyone for a “scooby” snack?!!:):)[Read more]

I think both (Animated and Film =)) are really good, but the old ones like Scooby Doo and the Zombie Island were really awesome =).
-
And hey Che I want a Scooby Snack, but only if you feed me them with your hands
:D. -
if it’s ‘the new scooby-doo movies’ from the 70′s they were ok,if it’s the ones they’re making now i don’t watch them.although i did find the halloween episode with KISS amusing.

Mine has to be Don Kotts.
-
Kudos for this thread Madmondo;) O..K I did enjoy Don Knotts but I really enjoyed Jerry Reed as my favorite.
-
:he::he:Don Knotts! He’s cool and he was sooo funny in Threes Company and Andy Griffith shows!!
I did not know he was a character on Scooby -Doo, I guess I was too young to care about who was on the show.
The scary characters created were creepy and cool.
-
korn on the halloween one XD
-
hahaha the korn episode is from South Park, they were spoofing Scooby Doo.
-
i dont really have a favorite but the fact that the ‘a good medium is rare’ episode with phyllis diller was considered to be influencing kids to practice the occult by some holy-rollers is too funny!

its pretty difficult to decide on just one but I did like the 1st episode that has the creeper.
-
WHAT THE HEX GOING ON? – creepiest episode of all time!
-
i really dnt have a fav. but i liked STINKWEED in a pup named scooby doo. and in The Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo series it was The ghoul, the bat and the ugly with the shadow creature. That episode creeped the fuck out of me when i was a kid.

It’s hard for me to truly pick just one, but I feel his re-make of Night Of The Living Dead was some of his best work.
-
I love the night of living dead remake,
but he is best known for his Make-Up Effects…
So i’m gonna go with The Burning(The Raft scene really messed me up pretty bad haha)
and Dawn of the dead.
I wish i could go to his school. -
This is true but he has been in and directed a lot of movies.
His make up and fx are the best. -
I gotta give it to Dawn Of The Dead. The ultimate edition of that is one of my prized collections.
-
God, I loved his work in TCM 2. And Maniac. That was some badass shit. To bad his out of work these days.
-
yeah too bad i miss his work, hahaha i love how he blows his own face off in Maniac.
-
Love the prowler… the pool scene… fantastic!!!!
or the pitchfork shower scene, all was damn good
also love the burning as well. -
Day of the dead has to be the stuff that sticks with me, maybe cause i saw it at an impressionable age.
-
Day Of The Dead has some brilliant effects, I really want to watch it but I lent it to a mate.
Yeah, blowing his own head off in Maniac looked so good. Rosemary’s Killer had some really nice moments to. I love it when the guy gets the hunting knife through the top of the head, then he just sits there with his eye’s rolled back. The guy is…[Read more]
-
I agree with Oxley that Maniac and TCM 2, I don’t know if it’s true and I don’t listen to rumors a whole lot but the consensus is the guy is an asshole outside the FX spectrum. Can anyone confirm this for me.
-
I have met Tom many time when I lived in L.A and he is a really cool guy, I have seen him blow off and even yell at a few people but who doesn’t when your getting pulled in five different directions by fans. Tom is great most people don’t know he’s a magician and I’ve even seen him levitate. If you see him at a show ask him to do it he probably will.
-
Yeah, I’ve heard he is a complete fuck wit to people. His heads really up his arse.
-
Gotta go with Creepshow because he had to broaden his effects to other areas besides gore… plus Fluffy is probably my favorite creature he ever made!!
-
I met him too and he was pretty much a dick imo… For some reason he choose to dislike me because my buddy was wearing a NOTLD shirt & I had a Fulci’s Zombie shirt lol…
At least I got to see Creepshow on the big screen that night.
-
I loved his work in Friday the 13th and in The Final chapter…Maniac and The Prowler
-
tcm 2 and his work in f13th are great.

I will add this I love the show, but I really have issues with the fact that they have Rick’s wife and partner in a relationship. In the books it was a one time thing, it just worked better to me in that sense. The show has a tone of it’s own but I hope it won’t mess with the story line from the books.
I didn’t like the 2nd episode as much as the first. It was still good, but not quite as good.
i thought the end with glen driving away in the dodge alarm still going off was awesome . this show is delivering .
I will agree with you completely, E3 has me a little worried about the series I just hope people can hold out until we hit the real meat from the book once they get to the farm and the prison.
