Tom Savini Fans October 12, 2009 3:52 pm I’ve met Tom twice at Fango, but this last time, he was acting like a bit of a prick.
It was towards the end of the convention in NYC and no one was stopping by his booth anymore, so I figured I’d swing by and ask him how his film production workshop was going. He just answered real briefly and turned away from me like I was somehow pestering him. That made me dislike the guy quite a bit.
Maybe he was cranky cuz it was a long day for him or maybe he was pissed he wasn’t getting more attention. In either case, if you’re gonna be a sour ass, just stay home. Dick!

I have also met Tom many time he can be a real douche, but if you really get to know him he’s a cool guy. Most people won’t get the time to see this side of him, cause he’s a cock to most of the people he meets.
I love the guy’s work from around 20+ years ago, but who is he to be acting like a prick? Maybe that’s why there were so few people at his booth.
There is only one time i have seen him at a convention and he seemed pretty happy. while i was there someone asked him to crack a whip he had with him and he did. Iwas right next to him and i didn’t know he was going to crack the whip. he did and it scared the crap out of me
