BD Film-Makers April 16, 2012 2:47 pmI might as well take this time to introduce myself. I’m a filmmaker out of Ontario Canada and I write, Produce, Direct and act in my films as well as others films to. The biggest thrill was being in the last SAW film a few years back. Kind of surreal being a big horror fan and being apart of it. I run my own production TIME KNOWS FILMS and love…[Read more]

Horror Cons, Events, Signing around the globe! April 19, 2011 12:36 amThis year at the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show there will be a Hollywood horror walk-through scare-house (kinda similar to some of the stuff Universal does in LA at Halloween) featuring scenes from 13 of Hollywood’s fave horror films.
So far I know that Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, Michael Myers, Chucky, Wolf Man and The Exorcist are all part…[Read more]

-
Awesome, I was actually wondering if there was a Florida horror group let alone a zombie one. Im in Tampa here. Where are you.
-
I’m in Tallahassee for now. Do you know about the horror convention in Orlando in October?
-
Hmm no cant say I know about it. Funny thing you mention it because I was just wondering if there were going to be any horror cons coming up in the area.
-
Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend in Orlando is October 9-11, 2009. Go to spookyempire.com for more info.
I run the FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival in Orlando which is part of Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend.
-
Yeah, last years show was great. It was HUGE and they have a big zombie walk on Friday. I’ll be covering it for my site zombie-net.com. How’s this years movie line-up looking?
-
We’ve been getting some amazing independent horror films for this years festival. We still have until August 21, 2009 for the final deadline for entries. Should be another great year of independent horror.
-
Great! Any zombies movies in the line-up? I’d love to promote it on my site
-
This sounds really awesome. I cant say Ive ever heard of this Spooky Empire Ultimate Horror Weekend. I’ll spread the word here in Tampa.
-
We have actually gotten a few Zombie movies, but we can’t announce any films until Sept. since we are still taking submissions.
-
Thanks for spreading the word Gutmuncher!
-
Cool, let me know when you’re ready to announce the movies and I can do a feature on my site and maybe get an interview?
-
welcome!
-
We’re giving away 5 copies of the game plants vs. zombies on zombie-net.com. Check it out!
-
That game is so kick ass!!!
-
Yeah I didn’t think I would really be into it, but it’s so addicting. I decided to do a monthly give-away on my site, so I figured that would be a good start. Next month it will be Return of the Living Dead on dvd
-
I cant beleive these are the only Florida people on BD. I actually know theres more on here but doesnt anyone pay attention to the groups or what.
-
I need some friends to see movies with dammit
-
I agree, I know there’s a lot of fans in Florida, I guess they don’t pay attention to the groups on here.
-
Yeah the same thing is happening to me…I mean I have a bunch of people Iknow who love movies, but of course dont like horror. So I usually go by myself or miss out and wait for the dvd’s. My wife doesnt even go with me. Im all alone in this world of horror.
As for the groups, thats what Ive gathered. The whole reason I stumbled upon this was…[Read more]

James Wan Fans July 23, 2009 10:02 amSaw, Dead Silence, Death Sentence- Which is your favorite?
I’ll have to go with Death Sentence mainly because I have a huge soft spot for Death Wish style gritty revenge flicks.
-
The original Saw of course.
Dead Silence and Death Sentence both rock though:cool:
-
Dead Silence, Saw is a standard, love the series
-
I love Dead Silence. But Saw is good too.
-
saw.:pirate:
-
As much as I love Saw, I gotta hand it to Dead Silence. Such a fun, urban legend style ghost movie.
-
Yeah, i also think Saw is his best.
-
Dead Silence was great, wasn’t feeling it to much for Saw
-
saw was great but dead silence is grossly under-rated…
-
I haven’t seen Death Sentence yet. SAW but Dead Silence gave me nightmares!

My favorite album from him was my first “Hellbilly Deluxe” Some of my favorite music tracks of all time on there. Living Dead Girl and Dragula own.
Note: My first intro to Rob Zombie was Living Dead Girl being featured in the opening credits of Bride of Chucky.
-
Fuckin’ Astro-Creep: 2000 from his White Zombie days followed closely by Sinister Urge from his solo days.
-
The peyote scene he did in “Bevis and Butthead Do America”, loved animation!
-

La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. One is my fav olso a very old bootleg of them live in NYC that I cant find no more.
-
the Sinister Urge
-
Hellbilly Deluxe.
Dragula is my all time favorite song. -
I started listening to Rob with Hellbilly Deluxe, theres a lot of good songs on it, so it gets my vote. Sinister Urge has good song on it too
-
Meh, some of the stuff on Dragula was pretty good. Other than that I wasn’t really a big Zombie fan music wise anyways.
-
Hellbilly Deluxe is my favorite album of all time! I love all his music.

What’s up guys. It’s nice to see another couple of guys who want to make movies. Are any of you working on anything right now. What genres do you work in? I’m down for all genres. Also any tips? I’ve been trying to refine a script of mine for a little while now. I’m thinking of shooting a teaser trailer, posting it some places and seeing if it…[Read more]
