It’s great house, and also includes the eerie sounds that play […] ViewI agree, the soundtrack is great…especially “Paris by Night” (imo). But it’s almost too eerie, so I don’t listen to it that much. I think Symphony no.9 ist the most harrowing track of all, it rounds off the dark mood of the film.

I watched “Irreversible” a while back and “I Stand Alone” more recently. I was wondering if the opening scene in “Irreversible” is supposed to be some kind of transition from “I Stand Alone”? Is there some connction between the two stories?

yes, indeed the beginning of Irreversible is a continuation of the Butcher’s story! The Butcher announces that he has gone to jail for having sex with his daughter
