In reply to: GRUDGE4life posted an update in the group Slasher Fans We have the Machete, the claws, and the ordinary kitchen knife….but what is the best and most creative weapon ever used in a slasher film? View

Hmm HAs anyone seen Happy Birthday to me- The scene with the shis-ka-bob. I think I misspelt that but that or the scene in The Town That Dreaded Sundown- Whee the killer has this girl tied to a tree anduses her trombone to kill her with. He ties a knife to the end of it and attempts to play it stabbing her over and over again as he pushes the trombone out.

Ihated..Hated Automatic Transfusion. There are so many parts in that movie go beyond stupidity. Its my most hated zombie film, but i gotta give credit to a bunch of guys that got a movie out on DVD. The three all time worst zombie films for me are Automatic Transfusion, Undead, and Zombie Lake(I swear you’ll want to die after watching this piece…[Read more]

I agree Evil, The French are doing a great job right now, with Inside and High Tension, and Frontiers. Three films that delivered. American horror, relys on alot of humor or the gore is so over the top its funny. But I think there are a slew of american filmmakers ready to make us cringe, only if the studios would allow them.

The remakes of Halloween, friday the 13th and My Bloody valentine and Texas Chainsaw Massacre have all been enjoyable to me despite the originals being better. I actually like alot of slasher films. If anyone ever ever ever gets a chance theres a 80′s…[Read more]

most of the time, slasher mask are only as good as the movies for which they appear in. Ghostface was amask we had alot of at our stores before the movie came out probably surpassing the film by coming out in stores 2 years prior of the film. It depends on the film, the killers pressence, movements, and what surrounds the killer that make him. …[Read more]

We do need a new face of horror though. I like Iconic slasher killers and even though Chromeskull, Victor Crowley and Leslie Vernon were cool, I dont see them becoming Iconic. There no where clsoe to being like Michael, jason or Freddy or even some of the lesser known slashers like The Miner, Cropsy, madman Marz, Marty from Slaughter high and a…[Read more]

While there have been several great faces of horror(SLASHER MOVIES), it seems that the 80′s and 90′s used up almost every possible visage someone cane think of. The best being Freddy, Michael, jason, Madman Marz, The prowler, (CropsyThe Burning), Leatherface,(TCM),Fisherman(Iknow What You Did Last Summer), Ghostface (scream), andthats just the…[Read more]
