I got a used PS1 from a game shop in town that came with some free rentals. I originally grabbed RE2 but when it didn’t work they switched it for a copy of SH to see if it was the disc or the machine. Turns out it was the machine, but I played the hell out of the game. The elevator scene in the first one freaked me out.

I was maybe 14 or 15 and Silent Hill had just came out. My sister was the first to introduce me. She had rented it with her friend and they were freaked out! All I know at the moment, is that Carpenter is filming it right now. He’s actually making a new film!
I’m not finding any updates for this but I’ll keep looking and post what I find. This is going to be great I can’t wait for a true Master of Horror to bring it all back to where it should be.
