I would say Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hills Have Eyes too. There are loads that I think are bad though.
If I had to choose one to me remade then it would be American Gothic.

Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hills Have Eyes, and Dawn of the Dead were all great remakes but also, I thought that House of Wax remake was good

I liked the Texas Chainsaw Massacure remake and although its not really a slasher movie I think a Jaws remake would be fun.

much props to Mr. Zombie for his well done remake of Halloween. Remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre was remarkable as well. just dont fucking remake Evil Dead!

I honestly dont have a problem with a remake. problem is, is that we’re getting too fucking much of them. dont be afraid to be fucking original ppl!
If you do a remake, first of all you need to it your own film, second (probably even more important) dont even bother with a remake if your not going to pay tribute to the original
