ViewAs long as new slashers are coming out, even if they’re remakes, I’m happy. It”s still nice to see original slashers like The Hills Run Red come out

jbahome936 posted a new activity comment October 14, 2009 1:57 pmI Liked the Amityville remake, I was more terrified by the original but I though the remake was an entertaining flick. The fog remake, however, sucked donkey cock. But I tend to like remakes.

What’s your favorite slasher remake? Which classic do you want to see get remade?
Personally my favorite is between the F13 remake, TCM, and The Hills Have Eyes remake. I think it would be really cool if they remade Happy Birthday To Me.

I would say Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hills Have Eyes too. There are loads that I think are bad though.
If I had to choose one to me remade then it would be American Gothic.
Texas chainsaw massacre is a really good remake. I would like to see Silent night, deadly night remade.

“Halloween” and Texas Chainsaw Massacre” were pretty good, but i would love to see “Silent Night, Deadly Night” remade just because it is such a great old movie….just imagine if it was made with better equipment
halloween and friday the 13th.
Dawn of the dead and The Texas chainsaw massacre. those are my favorites!
What about another braindead or the deadly spawn
if it counts,H2.better than the first.
halloween,friday the 13th & my bloody valentine.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th would like to see Slashers remade only with a bigger budget.
HALLOWEEN 2007
ooh and hills have eyes
Alfred Hitchcocks ‘Psycho’
lets try to stay in this century grandpa….
and im pumped.:)
DUH!!!! how did you not know that Jae????
Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hills Have Eyes, and Dawn of the Dead were all great remakes but also, I thought that House of Wax remake was good
I wouldn’t say Dawn of the Dead’s a slasher movie…remake was really good but uh…Friday the 13th are the best recently…pro’bly ‘cuz I just adore Jason
i keed i keed…i only keed with you Jae…how do you feel about that then??
how was the new Freddy???
Gotta see it too…though I hate that burnt pedophile
I quite enjoyed Nightmare On Elm Street but it wasn’t brilliant. It was entertaining enough though.
Definitely ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’.
who would you define as a “good director”?
I think Eli Roth should direct a Pumpkinhead 5 or remake…
“Pumpkinhead” should just as well be remade…it wouldnt look anything like the original, but it would be betterer…
my 6 favorite horror remakes in order r
friday the 13th
piranha 3d
night of the living dead
day of the dead
halloween
nightmare on elm street
my favorite is friday the 13th, dawn of the dead, texas chainsaw massacre. i would love to see humongous remake.
My favourite remakes are The Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween & House Of Wax.
Friday the 13th
I liked the Texas Chainsaw Massacure remake and although its not really a slasher movie I think a Jaws remake would be fun.
much props to Mr. Zombie for his well done remake of Halloween. Remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre was remarkable as well. just dont fucking remake Evil Dead!
I honestly dont have a problem with a remake. problem is, is that we’re getting too fucking much of them. dont be afraid to be fucking original ppl!
If you do a remake, first of all you need to it your own film, second (probably even more important) dont even bother with a remake if your not going to pay tribute to the original
