I rather liked the ending to Scream 2 (although I did see Scream 2 before Scream so it probably didn’t have the same impact on me).
The ending to Haute Tension is probably one of the worst. The whole movie was […]

Actually they could do a war game like BF3 telling the tale about the push back East at the end of the book.

How would that would work, though? The only way I could see that working is if they did something like Dead Island or if they went away from the story, like the movie, which I still have reservations about.

I want to watch the Descent but I’m afraid it will freak me out too much, because I’m claustrophobic.

Which do you prefer?
-
The theatrical is a lot better.
-
I thought the Director’s Cut ending was a superior and more logical ending to the film.
-
theatrical deffinitely
-
I like the DC movie better but the Theatrical ending more
-
I liked the DC ending alot more then the theatrical. It tied up everything together nicely!
-
theatrical.:pirate:
-
Theatrical!
-
the DC on both
-
I prefer the DC version of the film overall, but I prefer the ending of the theatrical because of the amount of rage Michael unleashes on Loomis, only to be “killed” by his sister. Plus I loved the creepiness and the deliverance of the “I love you brother” line in the theatrical.
-
I agree with you 100% myerszilla!!!
-
i just threw on H2 DC right now-giving it the 2nd watch-ahhh,saturday night !
-
theatrical becuase Laurie doesn’t die in the end
-
I didn’t feel like posting this in the general forums, thought you’d all appreciate it more heh.
A RZ Halloween video I made to a cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine”.
-
I liked the theatrical ending so much more… It made me theory work, whereas, with the DC, my theory behind the entire film was thrown out the window…
My theory was that, Michael wasn’t in the movie at all… It was all in Laurie’s head. If you watch the film, No one ever sees Michael and lives until the very end of the movie, but even then,…[Read more]

I have many more things that I think back up my theory, if anyone wants to hear! What do you all think?
-
Why not-go ahead!
-
Wow that’s a really interesting theory, dude!
-
hey myersfan! sorry i never saw your comment back til just now! ill have to watch the movie again haha i wrotye everything down but i cant find it ill try to do a whole huge blog thing this summer so its website-wide and everyone can see it lol
and thanks greatnate!
-
i liked them both…
-
Both endings were amazing, but I totally prefer the theatrical ending. It was more intense and I just love seeing Laurie in the mental hospital, instead of dead.
I love how the DC ending was sad, beautiful and tragic.
-
When it comes to comparing, both the Theatrical and the Director’s cut, I prefer the DC. It’s Rob’s actual version of what he intended the film to be. The theatrical version is amazing, since I had seen it and fell in love with it, four times, at the movies.
Simply put, H2 is an incredible film that is my second favorite film of all-time, but…[Read more]

which do you think is better and why?
-
I like H2 better because Rob really got to make it his own film as opposed to just another Halloween rehash…
-
^ I prefer H2 for the exact same reason Bear Jew, but we’ve had this discussion before. ;p
H2 is to H1 just like TDR is to Hotc. It’s Zombie doing his own thing. It’s raw, unnerving and brutal…and I love it!
-
My thoughts exactly!
I love how Rob’s films evolve, just like the leap from House Of 1000 Corpses to The Devil’s Rejects, He just keeps getting better.
Halloween 2 did become less of a standard Halloween franchise entry and more of an original, stand alone film, but I’m glad.
I’ll gladly take Michael Firefly over the version of Michael…[Read more]
-
Agreed, and there is a strange, peaceful closer to that for me. I feel Michael is truly at rest. I don’t care what they do with this H3 movie, but Michael is at peace in my eyes hehe.
R.I.P. Michael Firefly. You will be missed. ;p
-
Agree with the above. Not a fan of the franchise as a whole but it was refreshing to see this version of H2 rather than see everyone trying to emulate John Carpenter.
I just hope this fan group doesn’t get hijacked at gun point.
-
I like H2(09) better than H2(81)..as much as I like the H2(81) it doesn’t really have much to it in terms of story…Its just Michael rampaging thru a hospital trying to get to Laurie..John Carpenter has openly stated he just wrote it because of pressure from the studio and ultimately for a paycheck, but I do love it very much
…H2(09) had much…[Read more]

I really enjoyed both for different reasons. In H1, it gave me as a Michael Myers fan a reason behind psychopathy. As a young girl in the 1970′s watching John Carpenter’s original, I could not understand why a child could commit such a heinous crime against his sibling. In Zombie’s version, the viewer was able to be a part of Myers in the psych…[Read more]

Halloween was good but H2 felt more like Zombie’s film. The violence wasn’t too gory but was extremely brutal. Mane’s Michael Myers is officially my favorite. STC was excellent as Laurie. Very convincing as someone who went through hell and later found out the psychopath who caused such hell was her very own brother. Kudos also goes out to…[Read more]

h2 for all reasons stated above.
-
they’re both good for their own reasons.the fact that H2 didn’t pickup immediatley from the end of the 1st was something different altogether from the original films.question now is where does H3D start from ?!!
-
im pretty sure halloween 3d is a reboot.especially since rob has no part in it.
-
it would be cool to see yet another twist on the story !!
-
they are both great movies
-
Halloween but not by much, but I did love H2
-
i agree with liveevil hands down:)
-
i agree with liveevil hands down:)
-
As a Halloween fan…i liked Rob Zombie’s Halloween..but honestly felt he could’ve done better. H2 however…did NOT disappoint…it was phenomenal.
-
H1 is amazing and H2 is incredible. H2 is better, since it’s more of a Rob Zombie film, than doing a remake of the original H2 from 1981. Though, I love remakes more than the originals.

The Descent was a good thriller, but its not the claustrophobic feeling thats creepy, its the scary batlike people. All in all a decent movie, the second one was pretty good, but still a cop-out
