bunny’s right about RZ. His films follow a pattern of having some realism to them. More back story on Dr. Satan would be cool. I just don’t know if anyone can take a killer serious with a name like ”Dr. Satan”. Either way, RZ knows these characters very well. I bet any future movie with those characters would be great.

Clown unions would go crazy and want to boycott this movie. They know they scare people. They wouldn’t want them getting any ideas. That would be pretty good publicity.

Good point bunny. Sometimes the music can be the reason to check a movie out. Especially if it has a band you really like.

It wasn’t what I was expecting but I did like it. I don’t think you really ever see the gore in the original. RZ’s version is gritty, gory and brutal. I thought his take on the story was good but the execution of it was not what many people expected. The next one looks even better though.

Most of the French horror I’ve seen tends to do that. They seem to like to make the viewer think about the movie not for hours but for days. They really stay with you.

Flying chameleon zombies is probably the best idea I’ve heard yet. Maybe they could also swim fast. In any zombie movie I’ve seen, zombies could not swim. They just sink to the bottom.

Leslie Vernon could be a great new horror icon. The character has everything going for it. The collector does look pretty decent. I really hope it lives up to all the hype. The fact that the tagline has already declared it an icon is very bold.

I saw Snakes on a Plane and I think it’s just an ”acquired taste” cause I hated it. Maybe I’ll watch it again just to make sure. I trust GRUDGE’s opinion on movies so, I’ll give it another chance.

Parents can keep secrets from their kids, especially in their own homes. I agree though, the kids really didn’t deserve getting killed. The girl did look a little Asian though.

Yeah personally, I like watching french horror films with subtitles. I know some french so that’s pretty helpful. Then again, I’m not exactly fluent in the language. Hearing the actor’s emotion in the film is always best in my IMO.

He gave both films a pretty old school feel to them but my fav has to be Devil’s Rejects.Don’ get me wrong, House of 1000 Corpses was really cool but, Devil’s Rejects had a lasting feel to it.
