Viewbunny’s right about RZ. His films follow a pattern of having some realism to them. More back story on Dr. Satan would be cool. I just don’t know if anyone can take a killer serious with a name like ”Dr. Satan”. Either way, RZ knows these characters very well. I bet any future movie with those characters would be great.

I wasn’t sure what to think […] ViewIt wasn’t what I was expecting but I did like it. I don’t think you really ever see the gore in the original. RZ’s version is gritty, gory and brutal. I thought his take on the story was good but the execution of it was not what many people expected. The next one looks even better though.

ViewMost of the French horror I’ve seen tends to do that. They seem to like to make the viewer think about the movie not for hours but for days. They really stay with you.

ViewLeslie Vernon could be a great new horror icon. The character has everything going for it. The collector does look pretty decent. I really hope it lives up to all the hype. The fact that the tagline has already declared it an icon is very bold.

ViewYeah personally, I like watching french horror films with subtitles. I know some french so that’s pretty helpful. Then again, I’m not exactly fluent in the language. Hearing the actor’s emotion in the film is always best in my IMO.

One of my favorite horror films of all time. What about you? ViewHe gave both films a pretty old school feel to them but my fav has to be Devil’s Rejects.Don’ get me wrong, House of 1000 Corpses was really cool but, Devil’s Rejects had a lasting feel to it.
