My favorite is the halloween remake by Rob Zombie. I LOVED that film!!!

I must admit that I liked Hatchet. I think a new franchise would need to bring with it the story elements of 80′s/90′s films but improve on the effects. They would have to know it would be a multiple film deal. Sometimes they seem to make a stand alone film and then it makes money so they try to add sequels which just screws it up. I think we could have done with out the musical version of the Creature From the Black Lagoon at Universal Studios-Hollywood.
