What happend to Stephen Kings “Cell” movie, any info?

I don’t know about the “Cell” film,
However I did hear he was doing a “Hostel pt.3″
but it’d go straight to DVD because of “Hostel pt.2″

Hes not doing Hostel 3,someone else is.I wanna know more bout Endangered Species.And Thanksgivings supposed tol be a side project,for fun.Not a big thing.And Cells been handed to someone else.

That’s a shame Eli’s not doing it, he’s got a great eye for horror.

- He’s no longer attached to Cell.
- Roth isn’t involved with Hostel 3. Scott Spiegal is doing it.
- He’s writing Endangered Species, then Thanksgiving will follow.
- He’s involved with The Funhouse remake, but it’s still very early.

I’d rather have Endangered Species than Thanksgiving,anyone agree?

So very true to life! People tend to “shoot first and ask questions later” in our society. I just like the way Zombie took a classic and weaved it into his own for the current times. But, that might be why classic horror movie lovers may loathe it. He takes away the innocence of the time that time in the original.

I still believe if he’d made another sequel he’d have got less criticism. I reckon it’s because he remade the original that he’s been dealt with so harshly. When I went to see these movie’s I knew I was not going to see the original and that is what made me interested. Rob Zombie is amazing…I don’t understand why he would be hated. He took a great movie and re-made it in his image….he did a great job…so many directors do this with movies, they re-make older movies with more up-to-date special effects….I love all his movies

i didnt really love halloween original so my only problem with the backstory is the length.

Rob Zombie is indeed, amazing. He is my favorite director in the horror genre, ever. It gets frustrating to hear the fans whine and complain about a reboot of a film, like Halloween. Are you kidding me? Rob Zombie did an incredible job on both, H1 and H2. They’re my favorite horror movies of all-time, next to the Halloween franchise.

I never saw either one of the BLOBS (1950′s or 1980′s), but I just watched the trailer and think Zombie could really make this a very interesting movie. I’ll have to watch them before I see his version.

I just watched the 1980′s remake and thought it was really good and think RZ’s personal touch on this movie is going to be great. Ya, I read he doesn’t want to use the jello looking blob but doesn’t want to say what his idea is.( GOOD IT WILL MAKE THE WAIT EVEN BETTER.)
