ViewSince “At the mountains of madness” is now confirmed to be made as a high budget movie, it wouldn’t surprise me if we will see reasonably “high quality” adaptations of other Lovecraft stories on the big screen in the near future.

They include the Re-Animator series, From Beyond, Castle Freak (from The Outsider), […] ViewThe Cthulhu movie, while focusing a bit much on the sexual orientation of it’s protagonist, definitively had a bleak and “Lovecraftian” atmosphere. It is an indy flick, and pretty slow moving, but the few “scary” scenes were well made and the lighting and cinematography is excellent at times.
