Eli Roth Fans 3 years, 11 months ago So what’s your favorite? Cabin Fever? Hostel? Hostel Part II?
It’s tough for me to choose a favorite but I’ll go with Hostel Part II.

Agreed. ‘Hostel: Part II’ is Eli Roth’s most accomplished film so far. I’m looking forward to ‘Thanksgiving’.
The first Hostel’s my favorite of the bunch but they all have their own qualities that make them great. I do agree with the consensus that Hostel: Part II is his most mature film to date and does show that he’s growing as a film maker and Cabin Fever is a very fun Evil Dead style gore fest.
‘Cabin Fever’ was a competent debut and very entertaining. ‘Hostel’ was an even better follow up, with ‘Hostel: Part II’ being Eli Roth’s best work so far. He’s still honing his skills as a filmmaker, but it is evident film by film, that he is becoming a better director with each one. They’ve all been good so far, and in the near future he will make a great film!
When Roth does make that great film, and fruition as an auteur of the horror genre, all the haters will most likely back peddle on what they said before. They will say that his earlier films are great to watch to see his progression into the director he has become.
This a filmmaker with talent, and a wealth of knowledge and enthusiastic passion for a genre he loves so much. He will lovely craft timeless classics in the future, and I will bet my own horror loving life on it!

Cabin Fever
.
Hostel II for sure. I was on the edge of my seat. It was super bloody and sadistic. I loved the scene where Heather Matarazzo was hanging by her feet naked and was sliced up and bled to death while another woman bathed in her blood!
My favorite Eli Roth movie is definitely ‘HOSTEL Part II’ – as a girl I can say there is nothing misogynistic about this movie (as many critics have said)! Eli Roth has created one of the best final girls ever seen on screen! Just awesome! And Cabin Fever is a great homage to ‘night of the living dead’ and ‘Evil Dead’, silent and creepy like the virus!
cabin fever
favourite has to be hostel part 1.
i thought cabin fever was pretty cool too – the bath scene..CRINGE.
but the only thing i have to say about him…Peaches Geldof? Really?!
I would have to choose ‘Hostel’, though ‘Hostel II’ was more deliciously bloody.
I did dig ‘Cabin Fever’ too but not enough blood and gore for me.
Hostel. One of my favorite flicks of all time.
cabin fever was shown as a “secret”show in texas at an old abandoned haunted insane asylum, projected on the wall, the audence did not know what was going to play, but i think…..
they could have mixed wrong turn 1 and cabin fever into the same movie, that would have been good, just take out all the cheeze from wt1 add the good parts to cabin fever, mix well.
now as for the question: hostle I remember the first time i saw it,on net flix in 2006 when it hit dvd, alone in bed on a lap top, with it pouring down rain,i felt like i was watching a snuff film, sick, second movie, just as bad ass! i like watching hostel 1 and 2 back to back like a long movie as well.
cabin fever
My favorite Roth film is Hostel 2
