mine i would say would have to be lucio fulcis zombie …..i thought it was just awsome when the zombie attacked the shark lol
-
Fulic’s Zombie. I love the Zombie fighting the shark. No one does stuff like that anymore.
-
Lucio is the only way to go. I loved House by the cemetary
-
Burial Ground. Not your usual 0815 zombies. These ones work very efficiently as a team to reach their one goal: Extermination of all humans. This movie also includes a strange incest subplot.

Suspiria is by far thee best of the trilogy! The atmosphere, the cinematography and of course the soundtrack is killer!!! Suspiria is the movie that introduced me to Argento and I have been a huge fan since.
Inferno was an okay movie. I’ve only seen it once. I think I’ll need to watch it again to see if my opinion changes.

I’m a fairly new Argento fan and I’ve only seen Suspiria so far from the Three Sisters Trilogy so I would have to go with that!
I’ve seen a few of his other films and really like Phenomena, Sleepless and The Card Player. -
i agree with phenomena but i thought the card player was crap no offense but u should watce tenebre its one of his best!!!!
-
None taken! Oh yeah. Forgot about Tenebrae. That is another one that I liked and John Saxon was in it so it gets extra points. His earlier films (the ones that I’ve seen) are definitely the best but I still enjoyed The Card Player. Also, the soundtracks to Suspiria, Tenebrae and Phenomena are some of the best around.
-
I have yet to see Mother of Tears, so I’ll have to reserve judgement in regards to that yet.
Of the two I’ve seen, Inferno was good, but Suspiria is comparatively… amazing.

-
Pinhead, with Jason close behind…..
-
I wonder if the spirits and demons of the “Evil Dead” fought Pinhead and the Cenobites what would happen?
-
I don’t know.. the general consensus seems to be Pinhead, and I’ll probably have to agree. However, I think the ultimate grudge match would be Jason Voorhees vs. Michael Myers. Both unstoppable, both pure evil, and both have a similar demeanor when it comes to stalking their victims.. Michael just seems to be more calculative while Jason just…[Read more]

id have ta say day of the dead cause dawn is to long with to much humour but dario argentos extremely edited version of dawn would have ta be my favorite its called ZOMBI incase anyone didn know
-
For me it would have to be Day of the Dead. The gore is abundant and realistic. I just love the scenes in Dr. Frankenstein
-
i dont know if u noticed but in resident evil extinction thiers a pretty big reference to bub when their training the zombie infact a lot of that movie is just like day of the dead
-
I can
-
I’d give it to Dawn. Although I loved all of them in the series (except maybe diary), Dawn of the Dead is definitely the most influential. That’s the movie that made killing zombies look fun.
-
Between Land and Diary, I prefer Land.
And, of the original trilogy, are three masterpieces, ALL OF THEM, but, I choose Dawn of the Dead… The idea, the concept, the story and the events, the script ans the cast… Well, I really love it. It’s my favourite, and the Snyder’s Remake was fuckin great, but see dead running… And the fact of die…[Read more] -

Hands down it will have to be Day. Bub was jus the cutest thing.

I just showed Night of the Living Dead to my fiancee who does not like horror movies whatsoever. However, she really dug Night of the Living Dead. It’s a hell of a movie, and I think it transcends genres more than the other films in his series. The characters (except maybe Barbara who can be a bit to dramatic) are very realistic and give the…[Read more]

mines land of the dead
-
I’d have to say Day of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead are my fav n in that order. The newer ones, including Land of the Dead have been disappointing, especially diary and survival of the dead. These films need to go back to being simple yet tell a socially relevant story. Why not set one around a group of thugs n gangters in a inner city thats been…[Read more]

Probably Braindead or City of the Living Dead.
-
I’d say Lucio Fulci’s Zombie- a zombie fighting a shark? Can’t get better than that
-
that is my favorite zombie scene ever thats the only movie iv ever seen that in lol loved it!
-
BRAINDEAD! xD
-
Return of the Living Dead is most awesome. I remember seeing the trailer for it as a kid and getting scared. And when it came out on VHS I got my mom to rent it and fell in love. I’m with Zombiefarts, the zombie fighting the shark was classic.
-
That sounds like Demons 2.
Best non Romero zombie film…
I would say a toss up between Cemetery Man, Return of the Living Dead, or Zombie. All of them for totally different reasons.
Cemetery Man has this cool existential story at the center of it and is funny as hell to boot. While I am sure Dead of Night will be nothing like it, I am…[Read more]

Zombieland. So funny, same with Shaun of the Dead

i agree with apoc:) but i liked The Crazies:)
-
Zombieland,Return of the Living Dead 1-3,Pet Semetary.Night of the Living Dead(1990),Dawn remake and Day remake.
-
i have to say 28 Days Later…even though they’re fast/running zombies, they are epically scary.

also Shaun of the Dead & Zombieland (Y) -
i have say its between remake of night of the living dead or reamke of day or dead alive or return of the living dead 2 or dance of the dead or zombieland or 28 weeks later its hard to choose
-
zombie holocaust (aka doctor butcher MD) had its moments as much as it was a rip off ….city of the living dead was also good …..its hard to pick a modern zombie film as I feel the genre changed too much following the success of 28 days later…..however shaun of the dead is probably the best release in a long time with obvious references to…[Read more]

The Hills Have Eyes.
i would have to say by far the RZ’s remake of “Halloween”…..but there are a lot of great remakes out there that people dont give the necesary credit for……….
I agree, all the remakes so far shows the new generation how horror has grown over the years.
I’m going to have to agree with necro. Halloween has been the only remake that’s really blown my skirt up in the last ten years. Friday the 13th was mildly entertaining, and Nightmare was wretched.
