I’ll take the liberty of starting off the topic in its very own place o’ discussion.

I caught the original version of (1956) on the little teletube in my room at quite the young age. Then, I was incredulous towards b&w cinema. It was… different, but I took the step in that direction, ’cause the title allured me.

Why did it hit me in the…[Read more]

    • Invasion of the Body Snatchers is one of my all time favourites, and I loved the remakes too. Even the much-hated new one with Nicol Kidman I liked, must be the conspiracy fear.

    • I didn’t know that Kidman was in the remake… so far it has been remade… 3 times? 4 movies in all? I like the 70s and 90s versions, though the 70s really didn’t add much but the *point and scream.* I’ma hafta check out the Invasion soon. If you are the type that can take in oldies, you should look into Attack of the Mushroom People, yo.…[Read more]

    • I wanted to see the nicole Kidman version but the horrible reviews made me think twice. Maybe I will Netflix it.

    • Honestly, I put it on the other night thinking ‘let’s see how bad it is’ and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Daniel Craig’s bad and the ending’s shit, but the mid section is great. The 70s version is amazing for the sheer paranoia it gets across.

    • Did you guys enjoy ‘The Faculty’? it definitely had a body snatchers feel to it I think.

    • I liked it when it came out in the 90′s i remember that

    • Haha yea I seem to recall Shawn Hatosy in the shower in that film. And Mr Hartnett.

    • Love me some Hartnett. :-) I wish that movie had better special features and dvd packaging. Dimension films give no love to us horror fans when it comes to dvd’s.

    • my favorite has to be evil dead :)

    • “Final Destination” gave something new to the horror movies.I was 10 and I really enjoy it (Actually, I enjoy every time I see it again again and again)

    • All of the final destinations are great! Gonna see the 4th 2night at midnight even though I’m on vacation with my bf in San Francisco. Gotta watch them on opening night no matter what :-) let me know what u guys thought about it when u see it.

    • I actually think they’re shit movies but I always end up going to see them!! I’m seeing the new one tonight purely for the 3D element. Will let you know.

    • Well I saw it and thought it was shit. The 3D was OK but it was definitely the weakest of the lot so far, lazy shit. Cute lead tho :-)

    • Yea FD4 was disappointing, definitely the worst in the series. Gonna check out H2 this week….and yes the lead from Destination was hot! too bad no butt shot :-(

    • Haha yea but I did appreciate the topless bits, and found it ironic how the hot dumb jock died ;-) H2 isn’t out in the UK yet, does anyone know why??

    • Wow it’s been a while since the last post, what’s up peep’s? You guy’s gonna check out Sorority Row friday?

    • I’m seeing it Tuesday! Any word on that H2 UK release date??

    • Just got back from watching ‘Sorority Row’. Fun movie guys, it’s not original by any means and the acting is what you would expect but it delivers some decent kills and some funny lines. This movie is standard teen slasher but get’s an “A+” for owning it. Like ‘My bloody Valentine’ this movie doesn’t try to be anything other than entertaining.

    • John Carpenter’s The Thing – Not many horror movies, or movies in general, can generate genuine suspense. ‘The Thing’ does. If you’re a first time viewer you will be on the edge of your seat enthralled by the story, the acting and the special effects. Everything about this film works. The lighting and cinematography are amazing. The sparse…[Read more]

    • Anyone check out Jennifers body yet? Let me know what you guys thought?

    • i really liked Jennifer’s Body

    • Scream is my favorite too! I was 12 when I saw it and it’s what made me want to be a screenwriter.

    • what do you guys think of the Nightmare on Elm Street trailer?

    • I loved the Trailer, watched it like 10 times. Love the overall look of what I saw. Hope it doesn’t disappoint.

    • P.S. Loved freddy’s look….his voice gave me goosebumps :-)

    • I think it looks good, but i gonna get use to the new freddy. And i recommend you guys to watch Trick R’ Treat. Anna Paquin is awesome in it.

    • I can’t wait to get my copy of Trick R’ Treat!

    • It’s between HALLOWEEN and HAUTE TENSION. Why? Because… :he:

    • Not too sure about the NOES remake. I know remakes are just par for the course nowadays but the original is just so dear to me, lol. Johnny Depp in a belly top made me feel funny even when I was about 10! Annnyyway. Trick R’ Treat just came in the post, can’t wait to watch it!

    • Omg Johnny Depp’s tight little abs gave me naughty thoughts…..oh wait, still having them ;-)

    • Mine is The Monster Squad it’s the reason I am such a big horror fan today. I still enjoy watching this 80′s masterpiece to this day, now in my early twenties. P.S it’s coming to BluRay in November :) :):)

    • I saw The Monster Squad again the other month and I STILL love it! One of my childhood favourites. Has anyone seen the region 1 DVD of Otto! Or Up With Dead People? Was gonna buy it but wanna make sure it’s the uncut edition first!

    • My favorite horror films: The Halloween franchise, along with H1 and H2! :D The Devil’s Rejects, as well.

    • Yeaa TDR is amazing

    • I know, right! :D <3 I am so happy to be here in this group, with you amazing guys! I am a proud gay guy. :)

  • Exploring an abandoned sanatorium while ditching class, two highschool burnouts discover a girl strapped to a gurney in a secluded chamber… Want more? Watch it!
