I’m talking about a movie that wasn’t remembered or even never heard of, but has some quirky, amazing kills or villians or VICTIMS!! Mine was “The Town That Feared Sundown”, saw it in a drive-in as a kid, guy killed with a TROMBONE!! CLASSIC and very musical with the screaming!
-
Mine would have to be a movie called Shades of Darkness, this movie was so bad, so cheesy, and unbearable at times! But, like any real bad horror movie, it was entertaining. It also holds a personal place in my memory because my college roommate’s Father funded, acted, and provided a set for the movie. The guy who made the movie has also done…[Read more]

I’d say “Hausu”. Someone get’s eaten by a piano but it’s a 70′s movie so it’s super awesome. Also someone gets strangled by a lamp very violently. That is just amazing.

I grew up with this awesome group, and they are still here, I saw them in concert both ways, I PREFER the make-up! Also too bad Peter and Ace aren’t with them, please share your thoughts?
-
I’m not one of those fans that has a problem with Tommy and Eric wearing Ace and Peter’s make-up.I honestly think the make-up has outlived its purpose, it was fun for awhile with the reunion and all, but they should have taken it off when they came back out after their “Farewell” tour. Plus I was more of an 80′s non make-up fan anyways.
-
I only got to see them without their make up, they were still awesome the music does not need the make up!!! although for the show and the stage presence the make up wins every time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I would choose make-up.since that makes them iconic.
-
i saw them for the 6th time on oct.10th @ msg.they’re still awesome! ace & peter are the original & best but tommy & eric are great too.although they can play without the make-up it’s what makes kiss KISS !!

Movies as well as books depict werewolves as slaves to vampires, and that they are brainless killing machines. I disagree with the stigma, after all wolves in real life are loyal creatures, whereas vampire bats are seen as a nuisance. Has anyone read “The Wolf’s Hour”? I can’t remember the author and it has been awhile, I also would like to see…[Read more]

Robert R. McCammon is the author of “The Wolf’s Hour”, btw
-
Check out The Werewolf by Montague Summers. It’s a difficult read (in my opinion) but the research that Monty has done in the book is very interesting.
-
The Wolf’s Hour was a pretty cool book (although Swan’s Song is definately McCammon’s best), I really liked the way White Wolf depicted werewolves in their World of Darkness games and novels.

[ok to start this, please list any favorite movies with werewolves, I realize Vampires has taken the helm in alot of movies, but werewolves are still abundant!
-
Well of course there’s the biggies, An American…, Howling, but I also really dig Dog Soldiers, the Ginger Snaps series, the Underworld flicks, and one of my guilty pleasures is Bad Moon, I know the morphing transformation sucks, but the werewolf itself is pretty sweet!:chainsaw:
-
dog soldiers is one of my all time favourite werewolf movies
-
Werewolves are my favorite horror movie “monsters”. I really liked Silver Bullet (although the werewolf looked like Teddy Ruxpin with mange) but Wolfen, The Howling, American.., Dog Soldiers was great. The last werewolf movies I seen was Cursed and Never Cry Werewolf. Made for T.V. but watchable. Although Never Cry Werewolf was almost dead on…[Read more]

Total agreement, “Ginger Snaps” was cool, as well as “Dog Soldiers”, what about “Project:Metalbeast”?
-
I have not seen that one. I’m gonna check that one out.
-
I like all the usual suspects, Werewolf In London, The Howling, Dog Soldiers, The Wolfman etc. Silver Bullet is one that seems to get overlooked a lot as does Wolf with Jack Nicholson.
-
I saw Project: Metalbeast years ago, I remember it being like a good (haha) sci-fi (sorry SyFy, lame) channel movie. Entertaining in a cheesy way, then again I just watch Howling VI: The Freaks, also fun & cheesy.
-
i love werewolf movies but some of them (especially dog soldiers) freaked me out i dont know why though
-
I love dog soliders, try to catch it every time it’s on. I also love the original w/Lon Chaney Jr. Even a man who’s pure of heart and say’s his pray’s by nite……
Best all time theatre experience Wherwolves of London wonderful with a crowd. Recently watched it with my sons and had to explain that fx have improved a lot in the past 20 – 30 yrs. -
the ginger snaps trilogy
