I was watching Carpenter’s “Christine” today, and there were times when the music just made me think of Halloween III. I know a lot of Carpenter’s music has the same kinda vibe to it, but there’s something about the music in H3 that definitely works, even if it isn’t on the same level or reputation as the original film’s theme.

Hell, this movie probably has a lot of things going for it that are comparable to the original in terms of atmosphere. Visually, it’s much more in tune with an eerie holiday vibe, but the music is definitely a major factor of that, and I love it.
